Cheap, simple systems can hold much more complex systems at risk.”
This was presaged in 1726 when Gulliver’s Travels was published. Swift wrote of a technologically advanced people whose floating island would hover over backwards villages and demand tribute. If the tribute was not paid they would drop the island onto the village. Eventually a village defeated the advanced islanders by tugging on the ropes, that had been lowered to raise up the tribute, only on one side of the island thus tipping it over.
Swift not only presaged the Iranian resistance in the 21st century, but also Representative Hank Johnson who warned so eloquently of Guam tipping over.

So we should just sit and take direct attacks on our military equipment and commerical ships until the damage reaches a certain dollar value threshold worth the same as one of our missiles?
Maybe cut wasteful spending elsewhere, and actually pay for this? Another option. But no one is offering that one.

This war is wasteful spending so the logic doesn't really check out

So this guy Robert Gabriel Jr. last day at the White House was on May20, 2026.
Article doesn't mention Jack shite about why or situation around his leaving, of course. Not any mention of future planes either, just the usual he was a great fellow and performed great, Goodbye.
I don't recall the Camp David announcement leak date. Was it on or before the 20th?

That’s your opinion, it isn’t the opinion of others.
Those others should be in favor of executing the war, and finding a way to pay for it, rather than executing the war and just printing cash.
People still scream about “Obama sent Iran 4Billion!!!” while ignoring that we are printing 5.5 Billion every day

How is it wasteful spending? We pay the military to defend our interests. Might as well do so in a state of readiness

I never suggested that it was. If we go to war, we should pay for it.

This is said to have happened back in March. Now that internet access is being restored, videos are starting to be shared online by Iranians.

A drive-by shooting targeting a purported Basij member has surfaced in a newly circulating video from Iran.
As internet access slowly returns across parts of the country, the footage reportedly shows armed anti-regime militants opening fire on a man outside a supermarket before chasing him inside and fleeing the scene.
It is widely believed that armed grassroots anti-regime movements have begun forming inside Iran to confront the regime’s brutality.

So, all the panic stricken posters wanting to throw Trump under the bus wasted a lot of energy for nothing. When will they ever learn?
NEVER. They're like investors that will ride a stock down to ZERO before ever thinking to sell what value remains and investing in another stock heading the other way. To much pride to change course.

It was six days after, per this thread.

After 3 months of internet outage
I connected from inside Iran
And I have only one message for the world
Don't believe the lies of the Western Ayatollah-loving medias
The Islamic Republic is not winning the war and has suffered a heavy defeat
Militarily, we witnessed the destruction of IRGC centers in cities every day
Economically, prices in Iran have exploded and we can no longer even afford to buy chicken and eggs
The regime has been controlling the streets with armed terrorists for more than three months in order not to fall
They cut off the internet for three months so that you wouldn't hear these words
Even if you hate Donald Trump
You have to accept that the decisive winner of this war is America
#IranWar?

The @USTreasury continues our Economic Fury campaign against the Iranian regime.
Their troops are not getting paid, the police are not reporting for work, and Kharg Island is shut down. The Iranian economy and currency are in free fall.
Iran’s Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) is a joke, and today Treasury has sanctioned it. We have warned any corporate or state entities against paying tolls or hiding them as aid payments.
Forming a Wall of Steel, the U.S. Naval Blockade has ensured a record low amount of Iranian crude on the water. We will also be shutting down both Iranian airlines’ access to landing spots, refueling, and ticket sales.
Only a satisfactory outcome in negotiations will end the downward spiral.

So, what is the point of negotiating if that is their stance?
