I don’t think it’s munitions. I think its the congress and 60 days war powers act.
Go get a vote. Republicans have majorities in both houses and certainly can pressure a few democrats into going along.

The deal Obama made put inspectors inside Iranian nuclear facilities.
bullshite.

Yes, inspectors were put inside Iranian nuclear sites on military bases, but their access to undeclared military sites was restricted and required a negotiation process.
That "secret" military site y'all know about...you can't go there. Nothing to see in that secret military site anyway.

Why would anyone in their right mind trust a regime that has expressed no willingness to consider peace with another regional State and worse, has intentionally waged warfare against that State [unapologetically; no less[ via proxies from no less than three locations?
Why would you trust a nation which revealed a ballistic missile with much more range than known before?
Why would you trust a nation to be mindful of others when killing and executing their own at the drop of a hat?
How does one even begin negotiating with a nation such as this?
How does one trust a 5 decade long regime that has contributed nothing of consequence to the global community?

Help pass the new defense budget then! I’m all for it!
They're already funded at damn near a trillion dollars, are asking for $200 billion more, and are already lobbying for a bump up to $1.5 trillion for next year.

I'm starting to think that there is some truth to the U.S. being concerned about munitions availability.
Very possible. I posted this very thought in the Ukraine thread earlier tonight. Ukraine / Russia war is escalating and Belarus is rumored to be about to join the fray. This could be the reason air defense systems are possibly going to be needed.

Why would you trust a nation that overthrew your elected government and installed an emperor 70 years ago?
Why would you trust a nation attempting regime change again in your country with bombs and embargoes?
Why would you trust a nation to have your back in an internal coup when they left their afghani collaborators to the Taliban and the Kurds to Saddam?

The deal Obama made
You really do not understand the Obama deal if you are touting its efficacy.
It was a shite deal to its core. It was a facade for optics only with no real enforcement capabilities, and giving them access to treasure, and lifting some sanctions. It was a fricking gift to the regime.

They could just simply look at any agreement we've made throughout history on paper and how well we honor it.
Ask the Japanese how well we honor our signed commitments. Ask NATO. Ask South Korea. Ask Israel. Ask Germany and Europe.
If we're signing something official on paper, we commit to it

All of this may be true, which should make the reports of a deal with Iran that have come out that are worse than the JCPOA even more hard to stomach. Especially after the efforts we went through after removing ourselves from the JCPOA in 2018.

We signed an agreement with Iran in 2015 and by 2018 we exited it.

All I've seen are a bunch of internet folks talking about "sources" saying shite about everything and nothing at the same time.
