$100 billion of Iranian frozen assets

This is an I interesting story nobody is questioning. How much Iranian assets are frozen? A previous thread said they wanted “the remaining $25 billion.”

Either they have far more money than anyone wants to admit, or the US has been paying them for years and just saying it’s released sanctions money.

BREAKING: Iran says contrary to what the US claims, the now fully leaked "Memorandum of Understanding" contains no Iranian commitments to hand over nuclear stockpiles, remove equipment, shut down nuclear facilities, or even commit to not build a nuclear bomb. Instead, all nuclear issues are deferred to a 60 day period of negotiations after signing, per Fars News.

For this period to start, the US would need to accept no nuclear commitments from Iran, agree to release $100 billion of Iranian frozen assets, lift the naval blockade, lift all oil and petrochemical sanctions during the negotiation period, pay $270 billion in war reparations, and accept Hormuz under "full permanent sovereign Iranian management and authority" at pre-war traffic levels with no US presence.

This sounds like complete bull shite. You people do not have post every fake story

"The United States is updating Israel on the negotiations over a memorandum of understanding for reopening the Strait of Hormuz and entering negotiations on a final agreement regarding the disputed issues.

In last night’s conversation with President Trump, the Prime Minister stressed that Israel will maintain freedom of action against threats on all fronts, including Lebanon, and President Trump reiterated his support for this principle.

President Trump made clear that he will stand firm in the negotiations on his longstanding demand for the dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program and the removal of all enriched uranium from its territory, and that he will not sign a final agreement without these conditions being met.

The Prime Minister again expressed his appreciation to President Trump for his longstanding and exceptional commitment to Israel’s security."

The amount Iran keeps demanding keeps rising. First it was 6 billion, then it was 10, then 25 billion. Now allegedly $100 billion. Soon they will ask for all sanctioned money to be released.

Oil rich nation, that has probably made a ton over the last 47 years. The issue with them is they dump it all into paying their terrorist proxies and building their nuclear program and military programs. They put all their funds into the ultimate goal instead of into roads, schools, infrastructure, etc.

In all fairness it’s hard to tell. Someone posted a quote from a respected professor…and he said they had 10 tons of highly enriched uranium.

Until people start publicly shaming experts, we’re stuck relying on the mil-blog autists.

It will be a complete humiliation if we pay these people a dime BEFORE they hand over the uranium dust. If they are correct that we have to give them billions under the deal just for jerking us around in nuclear negotiations which will never result in them agreeing to anything, then Trump should take "Art of the Deal" off the marketplace because he obviously doesn't know how to negotiate.

UAE got bombed by their own money...

An arab "partner" in bed with the devil. Now you see why they were so pissed. The equipment they procured and helped finance for Iran was responsible for them getting hit by their "friends".

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards used a UAE-based procurement network to buy advanced Chinese satellite equipment linked to its drone program, the Financial Times reported on Sunday.

The report said leaked UAE commercial contracts and shipping records showed the IRGC Aerospace Force acquired military-grade Chinese satellite communication technology in late 2025 through a company based in the UAE.

The deal was sensitive because the UAE hosted a company supplying communications equipment to the same branch of the Guards that later launched missiles at the UAE in response to US-Israeli strikes, according to the report.

Again, Trump has botched this entire situation. He has lost a lot of credibility, and needs to get out of twitter and take a break from the nonsense he says. Geez.

The other explanation for this is straight from Occam’s Razor. Trump is using his standard Truth/X tactics in a high stakes, geopolitical negotiation against a long-term adversary and Iran is pulling the wool over his eyes and no amount of “Truth” posting will ever change that. It’s amateur hour.

I woke up about 6:30 to a big boom and the power went out. Guess we're still at war. Hope we didn't get the GPS coordinates wrong for Bridge and Power Plant Day.

First they said we won’t talk until you stop bombing.

Now they say we won’t talk until you agree to give us billions and we won’t talk about certain things.

There is a pattern here.

It is starting to look like we have two options. Commit troops or take the Japan option and start nukeing whole cities until the capitulate.

You can’t negotiate with terrorists; Trump looks silly. And the tweets make it look worse.

The guy is out of options he knows it. He needs to say he miscalculated and just be done if he isn’t going to follow through with his threats.
