Be patient little grasshopper. Things are not always as they seem. Trump wants Iran to believe a deal is about to be made. Then he will drop the sledge hammer.

I can only conclude there is something big is causing this disaster. Either Iran has something akin to a nuclear weapon or a dirty bomb somewhere hidden and has proven it. Or something else big.

If Trump agrees to this you can kiss the 2026 mid-terms and the 2028 elections goodbye. The democrats will win everything.

I'd love to believe that. And for a while I really did....

However, since the ceasfire, Trump has shown me nothing that indicates he has the guts to resume action. The moment those fricks fired on our Naval ships in the SOH and we didn't immediately begin Operation Parking lot on their asses showed me that he had already wavered on decisively ending this forever.

I have zero confidence until he shows me otherwise that he will finish this off the right way.

As much as anything I think we lost the support of our Arab partners.

They probably were not a fan of losing their oil infrastructure and watching tankers rerouted to the US.

I think that has been increasingly clear since Trump put the Hormuz freedom operation (whatever it was called) on hold almost immediately. Remember, reportedly none of those countries were included in that decision and when Iran retaliated against them they were expected not to strike back. The operation was put on hold quickly after that.

If these reports end up being true, I don't understand what the point of this whole excursion was.

Right or wrong, once you stirred up the hornet's nest, you have to follow through.

It seems we will end up in a worse position than when we started, minus tens of billions of dollars...

If this is inaccurate (it better be) then Trump's people need to leak the actual terms really fast.

DJT should be forced to rename his book to The Shart of the Shill after this one.

This is worse than the deal Obama had with them if the details are true.

I'm shocked that he is going to go this route. Utter madness. They tried to kill his daughter of all things and he is still going to let them of the hook? Just absolute insanity.

Literally this is what Iran has been asking for for months and now suddenly this is an acceptable deal? Just insane.

Our Arab allies were sick of their energy infrastructure getting destroyed when it was clear the United States lacked the resolve to finish the job we started.

I hope when Trump leaves office and Iran starts acting up again, our Arab "Allies" are the first ones to feel the pain. Screw those Muslim bastards. I don't care what flavor of the unholy pedophiles theology they follow, screw every single one of them. We should leave them high and dry when those maniacs in Iran start flexing like they are superpower.
