Not sure how accurate the report is. It is the NYT after all.

Nah. I never got into that whole trans ideology.

Not everyone who has negative thoughts about the war potentially expanding multiple years is into trans ideology.

It’s also completely irrelevant to the topic and bizarre to even mention it here.

Not too surprising with a ceasefire that likely won’t end and Iran basically able to regroup and recharge as needed.

The NYT probably has a hot line straight from the IRGC command headquarters telling them what to print.

All "journalists" do today is post what they glean off the internet from others or post whispers that instigators message them.

I hope they have those perfected. Seems like a much less expensive tool for missile/drone defense.

The biggest problem with that report is that not all missiles and missile launchers are the same. Not even remotely the same. So it could be an extremely valuable report, or it could be very misleading.

I feel like they couldn’t be more full of it and have no idea how moving material really works.

It takes 3 work days of nonstop running scooping 20 yards at a time to move 20,000 yards of beautiful silty loam soil.

20,000 yards is a pittance. And that’s not even moving it very far.

Now, consider that the absolute biggest bucket you can put on a 95 ton excavator is 8 yards- and a 95 ton machine is no joke- most of what you see on jobsites globally are 20 ton machines.

And it’s rock.

And we bombed this stuff solid for what, 2 months?

And we are to believe that these clowns can move all this material in a couple weeks?

My arse.

That was my initial thought, but it's nice to hear a more informed assessment. lf they've already dug all of that stuff out of multiple sites that reportedly took many, many hits from big bombs, then we need to do better bomb damage assessment.

You're either completley retarded or an intentional bad actor. Either case is embarrassing

US approves $8.6bn in arms sales to Middle East allies

On May 3rd it was reported that the US State Department cites emergency circumstances to fast-track sales without the approval of Congress.

Unless they had other access points to get into the tunnels and other areas hidden inside mountains.

It would make sense to have one or two primary entry points, and knowing they’ll get hit have secondary access points they normally don’t use.

I see the source of our disagreement. You don't know what you don't know.

Why is there so much animosity on this thread the last couple days? Lack of action pitting everyone against each other?

I’m thinking you’re being sarcastic here, because the top ones on your list have to be assembled on site. Even IF the Iranians somehow got past the sanctions to get one from Cat or Komatsu Mining and somehow got their hands on one of the only few ever made, It would take months to just mobilize one. Mobilize it- not even get it back commissioned to work again.

And then there’s that pesky detail of the 250 ton mining trucks that need to be mobilized in the same manner just to move what one of those can dig.

They aren’t digging bomb damage out with a front shovel, I promise you. There’s probably not even a front shovel in the whole country.

Now, had we bombed Saskatchewan or Western Australia, different story.

There seem to be several factions with no common ground.

1) It's the Jews' fault.
2) OMB / Quagmire / No plan / Poor messaging / The gas prices are too damn high.
2) Iran was just minding their own business.
4) Kill them all and let God sort them out.
5) Think of the midterms
6) Let it play out
7) We need more drones.
