Why are you asking us? You should try asking Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Dan Caine.

Gotta love how a common sense answer gets downvoted.

If the US dropped a nuke on them, I wonder if they would be open to discussing the nuclear issue? Just a thought.

I am about to ask a pre-K-level question, so I apologize in advance...

Iran does not want to give up its nuclear program, which is understandable, and the US and the rest of the world want it to never have it, which is the best thing for humanity.

Should the US take a MOAB and blast the holy beJesus out of their sites, above ground, to make them inaccessible? Because we all know a bunker buster would cause damage that could never be repaired, ecologically and socially,

As long as they have digging tools and the will to do it, they can access the uranium/plutonium and build another site. Now, all of that does not take into account that foreign actors may supply them with said materials.

We want to retrieve the uranium ourselves so we can match it to the uranium given by Hillary and Obama to Russia.

Those conditions are not serious, only meant to further frustrate Trump.

But you have to consider that targeting civilian infrastructure would probably serve to strengthen the regimes talking points that they are purely fighting a righteous resistance against the evil Americans.

MORE: Saudi Arabia Secretly Struck Iran During the War

The Saudi Air Force launched direct, unpublicized strikes on Iranian soil in late March 2026. First time in history.
The strikes were retaliation for Iranian attacks that pierced the U.S. military umbrella inside the kingdom.

Riyadh told Tehran the strikes were coming. A calculated warning: stop, or face far worse.

It worked. Weekly Iranian strikes on Saudi territory dropped from over 105 to roughly 25. Iran shifted remaining attacks through Iraqi proxies to avoid direct attribution.

A quiet deal was reached the week before the broader U.S.-Iran ceasefire on April 7th.

CNN reports that, according to satellite images, a large oil stain can be seen spreading in the area of Kharg Island - the island from which Iran exports 90% of its oil. Over the last four days, no oil tankers have been observed near the island, so the spread of the oil stain cannot be attributed to a tanker leak or to oil loading processes

Iraq and Pakistan cut separate deals with Iran to move oil and liquefied natural gas through the Strait of Hormuz, Reuters reported, citing five sources with knowledge of the matter.

Iraq secured safe passage for two very large crude carriers, each carrying about 2 million barrels of crude, that passed through the strait on Sunday, according to the report.

Iraq is seeking Iran’s approval for more transits to protect oil revenues that make up 95% of its budget, the report added, citing an Iraqi oil ministry official.

Two tankers loaded with Qatari LNG are also heading to Pakistan under a separate bilateral agreement between Islamabad and Tehran, the report said, citing two unnamed industry sources.

The sources said neither Iraq nor Pakistan made direct payments to Iran or Iran’s Revolutionary Guards over the transits, and Qatar was not directly involved in the bilateral deals.

That's complete conjecture at best, completely false at worst. We've initiated a naval blockade and broadened the sanctions and related economic actions against Iran, both of which are squeezing their economy. We've moved potential ground forces into place. We've demonstrated to the world that Iran will not budge on their nuclear ambitions or their support of foreign based militia. Those are some things that have been accomplished; there are undoubtedly more things we've not heard about.

Yeah, no. All it did is let iran breath, Consolidate , and drag this out.
Everything you claim we have accomplished (lmao) with this ceasefire could have been done while slamming them.
We lost ground on this and it's not even close.

Let the UAE and SA test out the Iranian air defenses following the ceasefire rather than our guys.

I don't see that happening any time soon.

I think we're going to resume Project Freedom again and just wait them out. It could take months or years.
