Those rag heads are making him look absolutely foolish. I’m rooting for him but it’s clear he has negotiated himself into a corner.
He has no faith in who he is negotiating with. But now he is about to have a deal.
They break ceasefire and we keep yammering about peace.
This whole thing is ridiculous. Speak little. Do what you say you’re going to do.
I am rooting for him but He has found a people radical enough to call his bluff. Iran isn’t winning but pushing Trump to his limits and making him negotiate against himself seems to be their strategy. In that, they aren’t losing. But overall, their economy is cooked.

I have a hard time believing anything will go down before he gets with China. I think they’re will be “we made a lot of good progress” but there’s still a sticking point. Blockade is still inplace
It seems UAE is ready to start attacking them, which seems like they’re real close with Israel RN. Who knows though.
But issue seems that they did less damage to the nuclear program than thought.
After going to China they’ll have one more “deal push” then I think there’s more strikes.
They’ll either have to topple the regime, try to capture the uranium in a super dangerous mission or use a nuclear warhead on a bunker buster to destroy it all. I don’t like either of the last two.
I do think Iran realizes we could strong arm Hormuz if we want. The nuke might be a posture to get them to give it up, because otherwise we can explode it. But I’m sure they’d love to smear trump with that. Idc if there’s a deal, I just want the financial vice grips to stay on their balls. I think that’s the best chance for the people to rise up.
Just my 2¢

Trump doesn’t need to do anything as long as the blockade is in effect. Time is not in Irans favor. They have no export income and without that income their currency is worthless. They can’t buy the imports they need. Plus soon they have no place to send oil.l, and the well will be shut in.

The president said the war “will be at an end” if Iran agrees to the proposals, meaning the Strait of Hormuz “will be open to all.”
His post on Truth Social came after markets reacted to an Axios report that the U.S. and Iran were close to an agreement that would bring their two-month war to an end.
The outlet reported on Wednesday that Washington expects responses from Tehran on several key points to form the basis of a one-page memo within the next 48 hours.
Oil prices fell sharply in response, while U.S. stock futures, equities listed in Europe and global sovereign bonds rallied.
In his Truth Social post, the president warned that if Iran did not agree to a deal, “the bombing starts, and it will be, sadly, at a much higher level and intensity than it was before.”
Before the post, a Pakistan government official told MS Now: “The prospect of a proposal to end the war is very likely in the coming days.”
A spokesperson for Iran’s foreign ministry told CNBC earlier on Wednesday they were “evaluating” a 14-article peace proposal from the U.S.

U.S., Iran closing in on memo to end war: Report
Axios reported that the deal would involve Iran committing to a moratorium on nuclear enrichment, the U.S. lifting sanctions on Iran, and both parties retreating from controls on ship transits through the Strait of Hormuz.
Many of the terms are reported to be contingent on a final agreement being reached between the two countries’ delegations.
A ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran has been in place since April 7 to allow for negotiations, but the break in hostilities has often looked fragile.
Earlier this week, Iran attacked U.S. forces that were helping commercial vessels transit the Strait of Hormuz, and launched fresh attacks on the UAE. The U.S., meanwhile, said it sank six small Iranian boats that attempted to interfere with commercial ships moving through the waterway.
But optimism for an end to the conflict resurfaced on Tuesday when Trump said he was pausing “Project Freedom” — the U.S. military’s operation aimed at guiding ships out of the Strait of Hormuz — a day after it began to see whether a peace deal could be finalized.
“Great Progress has been made toward a Complete and Final Agreement” with Iran, Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.

I'll believe it when I see it.
Iran is stringing us along, reaction time and maneuver space is all there are trying for.

If a deal is reached that allows the 12'vers to remain in power, then this will have all been a very expensive failure IMO.
This is/was a chance to change the middle east forever and in some sense the world. It would/could have been a legacy defining moment, defeating the Islamic Republic, freeing the people of Iran to create a Pro-Western government, eliminating funding for terrorism, etc... People would look back in 50 years and say "That's when the world changed forever, etc...
Instead, we might settle for a deal that leaves the animals in power if they are smart enough to take it. Maybe Trump is betting on that they are not and then will resume eliminating them. If they are smart enough to accept, then we will be dealing with this shite again in a few years.

Iran has hit far more U.S. military assets than reported, satellite images show
Imagery published by Iranian state-affiliated media and verified by The Post shows damage to at least 228 structures or pieces of equipment at U.S. military sites.
Today at 7:00 a.m. EDT
Satellite imagery of the Middle East is unusually difficult to acquire at present. Two of the largest commercial providers, Vantor and Planet, have complied with requests from the U.S. government — their biggest customer — to limit, delay or indefinitely withhold the publication of imagery of the region while the war is ongoing, making it difficult or impossible to assess Iran’s counterstrikes. Those restrictions began less than two weeks into the war.
Iranian state-affiliated news agencies, however, have from the start regularly published high-resolution satellite imagery on their social media accounts that claimed to document damage to U.S. sites.
For this examination — one of the first comprehensive public accounts of the damage to U.S. facilities in the region — The Post reviewed more than 100 high-resolution Iranian-released satellite images. The Post verified the authenticity of 109 of the those images by comparing them with lower-resolution imagery from the European Union’s satellite system, Copernicus, as well as high-resolution images from Planet where available. The Post excluded 19 Iranian images from the damage analysis because comparisons with the Copernicus imagery were inconclusive. No Iranian imagery was found to have been manipulated.

I just hope that this time, if the animals refuse to give up their nuclear ambitions, then that is it, and we finally start eliminating the rest of them:

An Iranian news outlet linked to the country’s armed forces denied reports that Tehran had agreed to remove enriched uranium from the country as part of talks with the United States.
Defa Press, which is affiliated with the Iranian military, said on Wednesday that removing uranium from Iran had been “completely and irreversibly” ruled out in diplomacy, citing what it described as information from senior Iranian diplomatic officials.
The outlet also dismissed reports that Iran and the US had agreed on a 14-point memorandum aimed at ending the conflict between the two countries, describing them as part of a media campaign by “enemy security-linked outlets.”
The comments came after Axios reported Washington and Tehran were nearing an agreement tied to the war, sanctions and Iran’s nuclear program

Seriously. If you get a 12-15 year pause, that provides plenty of time to foster internal unrest to overthrow the government and set up alternatives to the Strait of Hormuz. There’s also no firm information on removing enriched uranium. If it’s removed that’s a win.

I think there is disunity among their leadership. No one has complete control right now. Any deal we make will unravel quickly if their leadership continues to be at odds with each other.
And, it could be that we want it that way.

Come on even you gotta admit this is getting embarrassing. Iran has continued launching attacks on shipping and the UAE violating the "ceasefire" multiple times and we have done nothing. We have heard many times that a deal has been reached only to then to be told we are far away from a deal. At this point they are stringing us along. This two week cease fire was a bad idea from the beginning and we should've ended them when we had them on the ropes.

I bet you this poster was just posting 4 weeks ago how we shouldn’t even be in this war and Trump should stop this now.
