I hate to say it but if all we get out of it a 15 year moratorium on uranium enrichment then this war was a failure and defintely a TACO moment.
An unenforceable "moratorium" on enrichment, no regime change, and billions of frozen funds to the IRGC to replace everything we bombed is an Obama-level deal.

Our Chinese friends believe that Iran after the war is different from Iran before the war.

Its international position has improved, and it has proven its capabilities and power.

Therefore, a new era of cooperation between Iran and other countries lies ahead.

They are not going to budge on the nuclear issue IMO. They can't kill the "Little Satan and Big Satan" without one. It's part of their ideology.

This is the rapid mood swings I was talking about last night:

Trump yesterday at 6:52 EST: "Great Progress has been made toward a Complete and Final Agreement with Representatives of Iran."

Trump today at 07:41 EST: "If they don’t agree, the bombing starts, and it will be, sadly, at a much higher level and intensity than it was before."

quote:

According to sources cited in the report, the parties are closest to an agreement since the war began. Here are the details of the agreement from Axios

?? The naval blockade by the US and Iran will be lifted gradually during the period of the detailed ceasefire.

?? The US will be required under the memorandum of understanding to lift sanctions and release hundreds of billions of dollars gradually.

?? Ceasefire negotiations are still ongoing for the duration of the uranium enrichment freeze. Three sources said the freeze would be for at least 12 years, and one source estimated the outcome would be 15 years. Additionally, the US wants to include a clause in the agreement stating that any Iranian violation regarding uranium enrichment will extend the freeze period.

?? Two sources claimed Iran will agree to remove the highly enriched uranium it holds outside the country.

?? The United States expects to receive Iran's response to several key points in the draft framework agreement within the next 48 hours.

They would be stupid to NOT accept no nuclear.

We would be stupid to agree to any deal that doesn't involve surrender.

If I was the leader of the IRGC, I would sign the deal and as soon as the US military leaves, build or buy the nuke.

That's what they are going to do if any deal is made.

Relax guys, the French are here!

"Potential Mission"-That means as soon as the USA and Israel have removed all threats the French and British will help "secure" the SOH.

when the French drop their rifles on the deck of that aircraft carrier, what prevents the guns from going overboard?

Interesting thought....the last 3 pages of comment take an overwhelming issue with TACO and support seems to be universal that trump should just go ahead and complete the destruction of the IRGC.

Maybe that's the plan.

Can we stop screwing around with these SOBS? We know what we need to do, let's do it and stop playing kindergarten with them.

Yep. We just bombed their supreme leader and most of the leadership. They are riding going nuclear or always having the risk of getting bombed hang over their heads.

I tend to agree. I don’t care how they get regime change, complete regime change, but this is a big one for me. Otherwise, the talk of the last 47 years at war continues.
