Why didn’t we sink that?

I don't know, what do you think?

Maybe because it's less than a 2 day supply and it occupies and expands time, effort, and money on something that may not even work.

Maybe because there is an extended ceasefire originated by President Trump and he and the US military want to honor what they agree they would?

Well, that is too easy to repair. Its gotta hurt some or the idiots won't take it seriously. Destroy the lines

You think the mafia rIRGC insiders are going to suffer? They're going to be the least to suffer. The ordinary working schmuck is whose going to suffer. In addition, and this is a big thing...the diseases, lack of sanitation, and loss of drinking water and distribution will cause a life and death crises with simple working innocent people.
Tehran has a little over 8 million people. You seriously want to have that many people without water, gas, electricity, non-working toilets, backed up sewage, etc.?

Common man.

Rubio said:

We need to find out where Europe stands

If you ask that question, you'll get a self-serving lie. Europe already gave Rubio his answer over the last 5 years, especially the last 3 months; they will abuse the US for as long as we allow it to continue, but give nothing in return. The only question to ask is how long are we going to tolerate their abuse.

Maybe I'm naive to his history a bit and haven't followed his career closely, but I did not have Marco Rubio being this damn good at his job as my expectations when Trump named him to his cabinet in '24

Some combination of him, Vance, and Desantis will be the ticket in '28 and - assuming something drastic doesn't change - will be favored for the presidency considering how shallow and far left the Dem bench has become

Macron says that Europe does not need to fight the US’s wars? That’s rich. How did France do in WW I, WW II and Vietnam.

Probably this. Definitely not because it’s too much effort. Hell, we destroyed all kinds of shite less consequential than that.

I suspect the first strikes next week will be strategic power generation facilities… on the coast, … the ones that supply their missle fabrication facilities. Coastal infrastructure is going to be pounded.

I also suspect Kharg island will become the new temporary home of the USMC . Artillery on Kharg will control all of the other islands in the vicinity. The US can also dispense oil from Kharg…. if we so choose.

At this point why?

Kharg is nowhere near the strait

When his and a healthy part of Europe is bustling with Islamists --- to be expected

The US needs to handle the IRGC and tell that side of the world to "take care" and further develop our side of the globe

You just hit them again after they sweat and toil over clean up and working to restart all the tripped equipment. Just d it all over again. US would have control over their power grid. Don't you get it?

Cease fire coupled with the fact that we are not itching for the oil wells to but shut in. Once they are shut in that bargaining chip goes away.
