Seeing that the 427th SOS was involved with their C295s. Can’t wait to read about their performance. Might be an incentive to revitalize smaller tactical transport aircraft.

It sounds like Trump went into this believing the Kurds had been distributing weapons to the Islamic resistance in Iran since the January uprising that Trump gave the Kurds to distribute.
The weapons were to be used to rise against the government.
Looks like the Kurds kept the weapons and were not distributed for an organic uprising as expected. Could explain why there have not been pockets of anti government uprisings against the IRGC and Basji.

Our liberal media said that the IRGC had civilians searching for the airman and showed videos of them in the streets.
Turns out they were out in the streets trying to cause congestion and STOP the irgc from getting to the evacuation area.
They are also saying his initial contact was with a civilian who helped him. That takes one hell of a lot of courage.....course we are to believe they wont rise up. Yeah right.

I don’t know what you were watching but the videos from reliable sources showed civilians in the countryside searching for the airman. There’s no reason to believe that some of the population wouldn’t do so. Those that are anti- Iranian government are not likely to be pro-American…
