This Marine vet's take is spot on!! He's got real experience from deploying to the Strait of Hormuz in 2010, and he's accurately explaining that an MEU is a rapid response force for maritime security, evacuations, and limited ops, not a full invasion army.
In the middle of all the online noise right now, his calm, fact-based breakdown is a breath of fresh air. Respect.

Agreed. Grooming 101 and 102 are prerequisites. Intro to ButtSex is a sophomore level class.

Gas is up and the stock market is down, this is great for America
It's a great buying opportunity, and I'll tell you why regardless of how it ends.
If things settle down and oil flows, the Iranian people come out in public and start taking control, BOOYAH. Everything is fine and dandy, the stock markets explodes and US military pulls out, but on stand-by.
If, on the other hand things drag on and no end in site...the American people, and most of the world, forget about it. Oil will come from other countries at a higher price, however smaller impact to the US as the worlds largest oil producer. Like the Ukrainian war, ICE deporting people in Minnesota, Venezuela, etc. this too will be forgotten and gone, and the market will roll up as the scared, "GET OUT" money will go back into the market.

If he actually was trying to assist the Iranian regime, it would be interesting to know his motive. He comes across as an ideologue, but that can be misleading if the ideology pays the bills.

He has admitted to lying to his audience multiple times with multiple employers because his paycheck demands him to do so.
Now that he is independent, im guessing that we are to presume that he has stopped this practice.
When a talking head tells you that he is a sellout, maybe we should believe him.

Imagine a self proclaimed “military expert” telling his followers that in all of the U.S. National Security Council, Joint Staff, CENTCOM, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT), and JTF staff, they did not plan for scenarios in the Strait of Hormuz.

If tweet fails to load, click here. For the first time, an Iranian-backed militia has carried out an FPV drone attack in Iraq, an incredibly dangerous new development.
Seen here, the FPV munition flies around Victory Base near Baghdad International Airport before slamming into a building.

They’re planning to get there at the right time IMO. Still too dangerous for the ships to get into the strait anyways. Need to degrade Iran’s anti-ship capabilities some more first.

Yeah cause if they left ahead of the attack it wouldn’t have put the Iranians on alert. It’s a chess piece move that the Iranians have to account for.
You barely understand the rules for checkers and Trump and the sec defense are playing 4D chess. Your criticism is so naively childlike.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. We had already parked two carrier groups off Iran's coast to flex for months.
The Congressional hearings over this disaster next year are going to be a shitshow. Everybody is going to blame everybody else.
