Trump alluded to this in his X Spaces with Elon. Historically, we aren’t very good at regime change. I’d like to think Trump has a well thought plan for this, because if he does take out the Ayatollah, this is good for the future.

I mean...it was true at the time. However, they immediately began rebuilding their facilities even after we told them not to. Then they started to slaughter their own citizens in their thousands. That's not even counting the years of state-sponsored terror they have backed that has killed American civilian and military personnel in Iraq, Israel, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, and other points across the Middle East and North Africa.
