There's increasing racial polarization and identity essentialism in elite media, but voters are actually becoming less racially polarized in partisan preference. The evidence cuts against every liberal narrative we've heard ad nauseam the last four years.

2020’s big twist: the racial gap is shrinking

The president is on track to get 35% of the Latino vote and 12% of the black vote. Both are substantial (on percentage term) increases from previous republicans

Dems are going to get larger share of white vote

This throws everything into a flux, because the conventional wisdom was that demographics were destiny and Latinos would bring dems to long term power

Just change the black percentage from 92% to 89% here and see what happens. Don't change anything else.

Demographics of the 2020 Election.

That’s because white women and effeminate men are the only people who think race issues are worsening in america

The more things change, the more they stay the same. As Hispanics further assimilate into US culture and rise to the middle class, they will vote Republican in greater and greater numbers. In the end, as long as we have a two party system, there will be a balance of voters on each side, regardless of race or policy. The parties will shift their platforms to ensure that.

My biggest surprise, is that it appears that Black people may be waking up (very slowly) to the fact that the left doesn’t really give a shite about them.

If Trump gets 35% of Hispanics, 12% of blacks, and I increased his Asian support to 30% (I suspect it will go up), he wins with 312.

The question is, how to switch whites.
