Peters (D-inc) - 43 (+2)
James (R) - 42 (+11)

Last poll was in June. (Parentheses indicate the change since June)

Same poll has biden up 8 in mich.

Good news for gop senate chances if John James, imo a perfect candidate, can take this seat

Peters is the most useless senator in the history of the State

If James can take that seat it would be a MASSIVE win for the GOP.

James going to pull this out... I'm not sure if he's going to drag Trump over the finish line or Trump is going to drag him, but they're both taking Michigan.

Michigan is more in play for senate than AZ which is insane considering trump is pulling away from Biden (it will still be close but it's Trumps to lose)

Mcsally has everything she needs to bury Kelly but she's awful and didn't endorse trump. Kelly's comments on 2A and court packing would seal it for any other gop candidate.

James will win Michigan.

As I tend to say in most threads on the subject, McSally isn’t retaining that seat as much as Kelly is losing it.

She is not a great candidate and probably needs to be replaced in 6 years but this idiot is going to hand the seat to her.

Michigan Democrats are so racist to oppose John James. Why do they hate strong black men so much and why do they try to prevent him from starting a conversation?

As divisive as politics have gotten I doubt people are going to split their vote between Senate and President.

The winner of the White House will also win the Senate.

Thanks for reminding me to donate another $50 to James.

I think James will run 3-5 points better than Trump amongst African Americans and suburban voters, and that will be enough to get him over the finish line.

Look at the map below... 51 might be a baseline for GOP (if Tillis were to lose in NC), but 52-55 GOP seats is quite possible (if we can hold onto NC and then one or both of AZ/ME and stealing the MN seat is a dark horse as well).

I don’t see how Tillis loses given how his opponent has had bimbo eruptions the past week.

Because James is going to get the Michigan GOP vote plus a lot of votes from black people (especially in Detroit) that wouldn't normally vote GOP.

Is Montana still a concern? Not buying the SC concern - I think Trump easily wins that and diminishes whatever chances Ds think they have of taking that seat.

Daines is looking much better now in MT, and Bullock came out for court packing in a debate over the weekend, so that probably is the nail in his coffin.

Great news - that's a devastating poll for a traditional incumbent versus a rising fresh face. Think the challenger wins a race with this dynamic 9 out of 10 times.

Will be interesting to see how James handles the Trump issue - Trump will definitely want to campaign with him, but I'd be surprised if James' team wants to embrace Trump publicly.

They can still both win - see PA (Toomey) and OH last cycle with those senate races and the Trump "problem".

If James wins the seat I would have to assume that Trump wins the state. Those should go hand in hand.

Trump had a rally in Michigan a month ago and James was there and even got to speak.

It's been odd. James didn't speak at the RNC but was an opening speaker for Trump at a Michigan rally shortly after the RNC. I don't get it!
