It must be added that the current generation of teens have grown up in a time of unparalleled abundance and they have been pampered and spoiled like no generation before them. They were never told no or taught to do without and are completely entitled.

That’s true, but I’m not arguing that the earth is a closed system. I’m arguing that reality as we know it is unintelligible if God doesn’t exist. We can’t know or prove anything if there is no God. It’s a philosophical argument. God’s mind keeps everything together (order and uniformity) and God’s character is the basis for morality.
