Yeah, but his election didn't have anything to do with any of that (ETA, except I guess for the factions of those who got pissed in the primaries and stayed home). I'm (maybe foolishly) counting on there not being another JBE in this race.

I think if Landry and Schroeder are the GOP frontrunners, those dynamics may be mostly out of play. It's such a goofy state, though, so who knows?

“Good, Landry now locked in.

Hes best choice overall, period.”

Please don’t vote in the gubernatorial election.

Louisiana GOP east closing ranks to take on Louisiana GOP southwest. Going to be an interesting fight between these two. Has LABI weighed in yet?

These state needs more than culture wars vs. fiscal responsibility to get it on the right track. This is Blue Bell French Vanilla vs. Homemade Vanilla.

The kiss of death.

This seems orchestrated with Kennedy and Schroeder. If Kennedy actively campaigns (Schroeder will have to pay him) for him he could be a tough out.

Who is running on the Dem side? Last time this happened John Bel walked in and took it.

Probably, but I have no clue as to who would possibly be the magic unicorn alternative.

Do you?

What’s the deal with this comment? Beau seems like a pretty good guy.
Billy is the poster child for typical stupid and loud La person, so I’m happy to see he’s now out of the picture.

Nelson has ideas. These two are just running because they feel like it's their turn.

Damn, this makes me think the salacious Nunguesser rumors I heard are true

PLEASE don't elaborate - I don't want to get a picture in my mind of anything involving Billy Nungesser that could be described as "salacious,"

Landry will have to perform epic head on the oil patch in Laffy to get their vote after he tried to screw them bigtime in 2012 for the benefit of the Bayou Lafourche workboat owners.

LOGA ripped him a new one in 2012.

Richard Nelson
He was my state rep before i moved. Excited to get to vote for him again for something.

If you ever want to see something done, tell him he can't do it.
