Hmm. May need to revise my post in the other thread.

I can definitely see a path for Schroeder if Landry is his most likely opposition.

One would imagine he'd get the NOLA metro vote and, maybe, 1/3rd of the BR metro vote. I think Landry would probably do really well in SWLA and win the majority of BR. North Louisiana would be a little more of a crapshoot. However, if Kennedy enters it would become a battle among all three with no clear favorite (though I think Schroder would be 3rd in name-recognition).

It's obviously the Republican's race to win. The question is do they frick it up with infighting and dumbass conservative voters "staying home" in protest because their conservative didn't make the runoff. That essentially how Edwards was elected, TWICE, in what is otherwise a deep red state in statewide elections.

Yeah not his strength, but a decent man and twice the IQ and ability of Landry.

Does this mean he'll remove that elephant float from the service road on I-55 between Ponchatoula and Hammond?

That's a bit of the thread's point as Kennedy announced last week he wasn't running. If he had run though, it would have been his race to lose and Schroeder knew it (which is why he waited until now to announce he was running).

I haven't seen word on whether Billy is running or not, only that he plans to announce it tomorrow on WWL.

With Landry involved? Yes.

That's the schtick he has to present. He's a "fighter", so he's going to have to "fight".

Well, slp and Fakeboy both endorse Schroeder, so he's off my list.
