Sorry, you either vote for Republican or Democrat. There is no middle ground option
If you love open boarders, amnesty for all, communism, trans freaks twerking on your kids at the library, and post birth baby murder… then vote for the Democrats.
If not, then vote Republican. Even if it’s a RINO dork. You need the coalition, if for any reason to caucus and they won’t automatically vote against your appointments and main agenda issues.
I have a friend who has always voted Republican but claims to be “nuanced” and won’t vote for Ed Gallerein in my district, and is voting Democrat to prove some sort of point that he thinks is somehow going to be proved. Something about Israel or whatever. I have no idea why Israel affects his life so much that he even worries about them, but it’s a big enough issue that he is voting for a Democrat because of it.
Yet he is going to vote for the candidate that wants to trans all the kids and open the borders wide open m, and will impeach Trump every day of the year
Primaries are for getting better candidates. This is not 1958, where the parties had a lot more overlap on various issues.

Americas election system in a nutshell.
Vote for one of the two shitty options we give you, and pretend you have real choices.

He also kind of owns his own argument

Rewarding bad candidates who win primaries means they will only get worse (amplified by the false choice fallacy, mind you)

I vote for who I think is the best candidate. Always have, always will and there ain't a damn thing you can do about it.

Obviously, you can not be taken seriously as a rational citizen…

Maybe his kid died in the war with Iran.
Why the hell do you think we're there?

OP is the right wing version of woke Democrats in 2024
Nobody cares about that shite when the economy and cost of living are high and nobody can afford homes
The voters will blame Trump like they did Biden and Kamala.

False Dilemma
That’s pretty much bullshite. We currently have 3 independents total in Congress.
The 2 senators caucus with Dems. The 1 in the house caucuses with the GOP.
I think you have to go back to the 40’s or 50’s to find someone that was elected as an independent and governed as an independent.
I only went to regular Ourso and not honors college. Why do I know these things and you don’t?

open the borders wide open
Not that I'm likely to get an answer, but how would this happen? Trump is still the executive. He still is in charge of DHS, Homan, and McMullin. The USSC has already given him essentially all the authority he needs to operate immigration as he sees fit, and we're expecting a Vance or Rubio Presidency, right?
How would any newly elected Democrat open the borders anytime in the next 6 years?

You underestimate how many white sheet Republicans hate the joos and honestly think they are the root of all evil in America. If they need to vote for open borders, higher taxes, the govt boot on their necks and their sons getting castrated without their knowledge they'll do it to stick it to the dirty jews. Dont believe me? Just look around.

In 2024 Taylor Swift sent out a message where she stated something to the effect of, "After doing much research, I have come to the conclusion that Kamala Harris is the obvious choice to be the next President of the United States. Therefore, I am officially endorsing her for President."
I laughed my arse off over that. No semi-intelligent person did any research in 2024 and genuinely decided that Kamala Harris should come within a billion miles of ever being President.

This is a lot of words for something that sounds just like
"Vote for my candidate bro. I swear he is a good candidate bro. He is the best bro. You won't regret it bro"

You either vote for the Republican or you improve the odds of the Democrat winning.
Explain how any other scenario can be played out?
Ok the Republican sucks. Fine, got it. Explain how an average Democrat is better?
Explain how there is any other scenario than what I just described?
The guy in my OP has some normie job selling insurance and lives in the suburb. Yet he is all worked up about some foreign policy BS and Israel.

Maybe your friend doesn’t like the fact that Israel/AIPAC pumped millions of dollars into the rural state of Kentucky just to beat Thomas Massie because he dared to question why we send millions to Israel each year with no questions asked?
Just a thought.
