I believe the point would be why are they in 100% of the commercials?

I bet. But I started FF through them in the vcr days. DVR's made it even easier and cutting the chord pretty much eliminated ever seeing them.

If there's a show that I really want to watch, it's pretty easy to find online.

I think you are missing the point. Nobody cares if two races marry, the fact that advertisers feel the need to portray it in every single advertisement is wearisome.

Doesn’t bother me that much. I think it’s advertisers way of trying to appeal to all demographics.
They are just trying to check as many boxes as possible.

It doesn’t bother me at all; I mentally tune out commercials.

I’m not trying to be a jerk but that’s incredibly naive.

I think the rub is the pandering aspect.

Who are they pandering to? It's not interracial couples.

I don't watch anything live. I record and fast forward through the ads. I'm sure millions more do the same. I wonder if advertisers know this.

I avoid buying advertised brands when possible.

I've started watching old TV shows instead of current woke shite. Currently it's The Untouchables and Perry Mason. They hold up.

Now see, that's just a dumb response. It's fine to rationalize their presence, or opine on useful aspects of the messaging.

But the claim is overrepresentation.
"100% of the commercials" was simple hyperbole.

Your attempt to deny that blatant disproportional LGBTQ2SIA and wokeism exists in today's commercial ad-space is miserably dishonest.

ANd the disturbing thing is: these commercials DO NOT increase their business! They must be getting paid by the LEFT-WING oligarchs to promote the abnormal.

This research is from 2015, so the % has likely increased in the past 7 years.

One-in-six U.S. newlyweds (17%) were married to a person of a different race or ethnicity in 2015, a more than fivefold increase from 3% in 1967.

Looks like you don't see the proper places to use punctuation either.

One thing I've noticed has changed. In 2021 the women's section of Wal-Marts around here all had huge photos of morbidly obese women....black and white.
In 2022 those are gone. I don't know the motive for the decision but the scenery is nicer.

Using your thought process, gays are 3.4% of the population.

Do commercials reflect this number?
