Literally none of that is legal.
If this doesn't get fixed by the courts with quickness... it will be time. Our government is out of control.
Somebody needs to call out this CDC woman, now!

When in the f*cking world has a government agency had the power to impose criminal sanctions that include jail time?
This is pure f*cking insanity.

All hail our CDC overlords. I feel comfortable when unelected assholes oppress us.

No, they didn't.
Kav sided with the left in allowing it to continue as it was supposed to end on July 31, saying that an extension beyond that would require legislation.
He specifically said it was not legal, but voted to allow it to continue.
The guy is absolutely worthless.

They are literally flaunting this.
quote:Buying time for HofR to get back from vacation. Just watch... Republicans will end up voting to pass an extension... in the name of "bipartisanship".
"Whether that option will pass constitutional measure with this administration, I can’t tell you. I don’t know," Biden said before the order was released. "There are a few scholars who say it will and others who say it’s not likely to. But, at a minimum, by the time it gets litigated, it will probably give some additional time while we’re getting that $45 billion out to people who are in fact behind in the rent and don’t have the money."

If you want to see just how shitty the human race is, become a landlord.

Sadly America is dead the Supreme Court is full of leftist and 3 compromised clowns in Roberts, kav and ACB

If this is not the tipping point towards a revolution against tyranny and a communistic government then I don’t know what the heck is??!! And I don’t even have rental property.

The people who are passing these mandates that will eventually cause the property owners to lose their properties are the ones who will be buying them, on the cheap, when they do.
The corruption is so widespread and ingrained now that I really don't think it can be stopped. Somewhere down the line we lost our constitutional republic and its not coming back

Don't be so sure. The federal courts have already upheld the CDC 's power and authority to do this, if I recall.

i love how libs would REEE about Trump's tyranny and fascism in every thread for 4 years straight, but now that their side is writing laws from unelected bodies of government, they're nowhere to be found.
they're all too broke to own land or property, so this tyrannical overreach is just fine. no REEE-ing in sight this time.

Kavanaugh basically said, due to COVID and extreme times, they would let this fly for another month, but after that Congress would need to pass an actual law. So unless something else is going on, I doubt it lasts much longer.
