If we’re placing that much emphasis on history and using it to so confidently predict the future, then history also says that Desantis needed Trump’s endorsement and proactive support to win that office. Thus would still need it again.

To be fair that flooding wasn’t expected. It was a random supercell that sat on top of the city for hours without moving due to very unique conditions
