UNITED NATIONS (AP) - North Korea's deputy U.N. ambassador warned Monday that the situation on the Korean peninsula "has reached the touch-and-go point and a nuclear war may break out any moment."

Kim In Ryong told the U.N. General Assembly's disarmament committee that North Korea is the only country in the world that has been subjected to "such an extreme and direct nuclear threat" from the United States since the 1970s - and said the country has the right to possess nuclear weapons in self-defense.

More shite talking by fat rocket man. I don't think he makes the first strike, but he might be crazy enough. We won't strike first, what sucks is we basically have to sit there and watch them accelerate their nuclear program. Not much we can do without them striking first unless we somehow overthrow the regime, which I don't see happening.

Man, I hope so, I have to write my EPR this week, and that shite is so annoying. If I go to war, maybe I get out of it.

He's been nuts for a long time. Russia is ready to make a move or they know NK will. Either way they won't tell us.

Probably. Norks will probably hurl some nukes unless we bow down and kiss their arse. Thankfully, we've a potus that will not allow our country to be controlled by a tinpot dictator in nk.

The way I see it, North Korea is on the verge of a collapse. The regime is starting to see cracks in the veneer. The only option left is to go out with a bang, so they're baiting the U.S. into launching a pre-emptive strike. They want us to do it so bad, because if we don't, their own people will rise up and depose them. If they try to attack us first, they know they will get slaughtered and their own people will rise up. The only option is to take South Korea with them by baiting us into launching a first strike and then leveling Seoul before it arrives.

I have a feeling if we ever do finally stomp this midget out, it will be a very quick war. First strike gets him and his major players in the government. Then the rest of the government lays down and surrenders. 7 hours in the war will be over.

We strike him and his major players, take out the launch sites, and hours later the war is over. South Korea stays safe and all America loses is the fuel it takes to power the jets and a few hundred billion dollars. No allied lives lost.

Trump can’t make the first move and he knows it(unfortunately).

We need to hope Russia takes care of it.

Whoever is down voting the post that remarked that NK is on the verge of collapse doesn't know shite about it. They can't even feed their own people. Grocery store shelves are empty. These SOB's are so desperate to save their country that they will do anything.

Well, one thing is for sure if it does....it won't last very long. It'll be like Captain Redlegs ("The Outlaw Josey Wales") when they crossing on that Ferry...."at best he'll get a few of them up front".

This is an accurate statement. No US president in my lifetime has threatened to “totally destroy” another country, Trump’s loose talk may seem fun on the internet, but in the real world there are consequences.
