NOLA is instituting a vaccine mandate for entry to restaurants, bars, Superdome, etc

How do you mandate that for private business? Do you put a sticker outside and then nothing else?
I’m pissed and now officially looking for a new job outside of New Orleans. I took this position as temporary getting some sales experience, but frick it. It’s not worth supporting New Orleans in any measure.

Literally not allowing half of your customer base to enter your place of business is a brilliant economic plan for your city. One could say she is destroying the economy

All these mandates is an advisory , while they can do government buildings private business can be bullied, threatened but ultimately this could be dealt with in courts and should be . Unless Martial Law is implemented phuck em

It must be so awesome to be a business owner who voted for this piece of shite and now karma is coming back for a visit because your business is closed now.
I literally just cancelled a 2 night hotel room in a few weeks. I'll spend my money in a place that respects its citizens' constitutionally protected rights instead.

I wonder the same thing about the mask mandate. If the private business doesn't want to enforce it, how can they legally force them to?

Since I've moved to Colorado a decade ago, I've had friends begging me to take them to NOLA. My answer is always the same, "Hell no".
Whenever the city leadership decides to get their shite together and clamp down on the violence and bullshite ruining the city, I'll take them.
