Why can't we have more great attorneys like Lin Wood?

You gay, just to let you know.

But Lin Wood is an American hero.

Exactly.

What good is the 2A if you get prosecuted for utilizing it?

If anyone here thinks they're going to be in the coming Civil War mowing down commie scum all day, and you haven't read On Killing by Grossman... you need to order that book today.

I would like to send Kyle a copy... but he handled himself so well in the fight, my gut tells me he'll be fine through all of this.

Anyone think these DAs keep making charges they know they can’t prove to guarantee they get off and thus will cause more destabilization?

Yes, particularly those with campaigns funded by marxist organizations and communists

There is video of him provoking Kyle earlier in the evening and later chasing him and cornering him after he tried to flee the area before getting shot in the head

Yes, shot by whom? Several guns were firing. He got shot in the side of his head, and survived for a moment. Doesn’t look like a 5.56 round to me

Do you think Lefty Gaige would have been charged had he fired his 9 mm at Kyle?

Haven’t read—what’s the big take away?

Nope, they are bringing the charges because it is political to them and is what will keep them in office... This one checks all the boxes on their prosecution wet dream list...

Yep, analogous to the Mike Flynn 'prosecution'. No way they can let one cow get their head through the gate of legit defense of one's self or loved ones. Only the 'government' decides who gets hit, and who don't.

This is just the beginning. It's game on.

Grossman begins with the assertion (and evidence to back it up) that human beings are inherently adverse to killing. The book delves into the psychological "patterns" exhibited by the vast majority of people when presented with a life-or-death situation where they may have to kill.

Lots of good reviews around the internet, but there's so much it's hard to summarize it too succintly... it's on the Marine Corps recommended reading list for incoming recruits.

Exactly and while this kid and his family have a very long road and will probably never see "normal" again, I am kinda glad they brought charges to force the issue of one's right to self-defense.

I think they did not think about the potential consequences...

May be right, but he fought CNN, MSNBC, and a big list of others. So far so good. And that is quite a significant list that carries major weight.

So you are a forensic pathologist, or medical examiner?

Or are you a grizzled and battle scarred war veteran?

Valid question. The video does not show him being shot by Kyle. The ballistic evidence will confirm or rule that out though. At any rate, I only saw one side of his head following the shooting in the video, and that could have been the entry wound.

He’ll have to live with walking in CPAC and having his pick of the single ladies. Well, him and Sandmann.

Yeah, when you mentioned it, I recalled the book being on the list back when I was the Corps (‘03-‘09). I was a naughty Marine and didn’t do my readings (nor MCI’s until forced to). Glad to know I have been battle tested and can say I won’t have any problem pulling the trigger again if/when the time comes.

He will have to live with it. But there were no saints or pure hearts there. There were two groups. One was and has been looking to provoke. And another trying to protect against the provocation. It will likely keep happening. None of the “victims” had a clean rap sheet. It’s a wonderful time now for Badasssss trying to be badass.
