I think someone here posted within the last few days that they took the subway but walked back because it was crowded. Hard to imagine how they’re all getting sick.
That was me, it was a fricking nightmare.

I never said it wasn't crowded. I never even said that there wasn't trash around.
I said he exaggerated, and I stand by that. I'm in the city everyday, so I think I probably have more data to go on than he does.
Some folks haven't updated their mental image of the city since Taxi Driver. Anyhow my answer to this is
- An early outbreak began in NYC
- density
- two weeks too late on the stay at home order
- no easy way to get around with densely packed public transportation.
- Callouts by MTA employees because of COVID has reduced the number of trains running by 25% -so even though ridership has fallen by 60% the trains that do run are denser.
- 7 weeks too late with a universal masking policy

Why are they such a huge outlier? They constitute 6% of the US population.
Just about everybody in NYC uses public transportation----you know, that thing that your local socialists are in love with because it saves the planet and shite.

Or you're so acclimated to the trash everywhere that it doesn't even register with you. NYC is a dirty shithole.

What if we didn’t allow idiots from NYC to vote
Oh how much better would our country be?

Facts don't care about your opinions, asshat.
Okay. This relates to the context of the OP how?
I can make random statements that are true but dont mean shite. Pure ignorance

im gonna go out on a limb here and suggest its because while trump banned travel from china and asked for people to stay home and social distance, cuomo and the mayor of NY went on TV saying trump was stupid and dont listen to him, everyone get out of the house and come to our china town parade to mingle with tens of thousands of others
also all deaths are reported as carona in NY, even traffic accidents and heart attacks, deaths from anything but carona had dropped to near zero, that tells you all you need to know about those numbers.

it's the overcrowded subways...
that's where the problem is...

My bad. I didn't realize you don't understand correlation. Let me break it down for you. New York has 103,000 cases of Covid19. New York, and especially New York City, overwhelmingly voted Democrat. I'm saying Democrats have a higher chance of contracting Covid19. Probably because Democrats are dirty sub-humans who like to wallow in their own filth.

It can’t really be argued that Cuomo, deBlasio, Schumer, and the rest of these morons made the situation worse by downplaying Trumps early actions and urging Citizens to go out in Public.

You can count on every one of the Coronavirus victims voting straight Democrat in November.
