There's no belittling. He's saying the city isn't going to dictate to the state.

Gross GDP doesn’t mean bigger economic draw. There’s just physically more people. You just gonna ignore how people outside of Louisiana want nothing to do with the state outside of New Orleans?

ETA: this legislation was proposed for many years and went nowhere. It's unrealistic to suspend elections for proposed legislation that repeatedly failed in previous years.

Tourism is nice, but what puts meat on the table for the state is petrochemicals, ag, fossil fuel extraction, shipping, and refining.
New Orleans being chronically mismanaged even worse than State government doesn’t help anyone. As much of a shitshow as BR is, it is much much better managed. Roads, drainage, municipal services, garbage collection, etc actually semi-function here.

...because its historically major city, which is the natural landing spot for large corporations has been systematically ruined by leftists.
It's not even arguable that New Orleans hasn't been ruined by the Democratic party. There's no reason for it. It is truly a unique city that should be a major draw to corporations. Unfortunately...you failed.
