there are very few middle class, two parent household whites in this parish.
Mid-City, Gentilly and Lakeview would like a word. Plenty of two parent households in those neighborhoods.

The only requirements for being Mayor there are being DEMOCRAT and a minority.
They apparently do not need to be competent or have integrity.
Place has been a shithole since the 90's

What minority is Mitch Landrieu? He was our last mayor.

This info should alarm the Democrat party, but I doubt they get the message. Theyve become the party of the rich white class, and identity politics is backfiring with black folks.
Things like CRT are pushed by white dipshits normally.

Does the tweet show the data? I have a hard time believing Seattle moved anywhere to the right

Just one more reason why it's a third world shithole beyond saving. I'll give more credit when they start giving any semblance of a frick. For now it's a very dangerous place and should be genuinely avoided.

Freaking white people ruining everything

Mitch Landrieu:
Race-baiting, self-enriching <> who perpetuated this downfall.
I too grew up there and visited monthly, but no more.
The libs destroyed San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans, even Baton Rouge and they still haven't learned.

Don’t think you can live uptown only making $200k

, while uptown and garden district swung left from 2020. The 2 neighborhoods have seen an artistic boom in recent years, attracting a white population often from out of state, who are culturally more liberal than the city’s black natives.
I know a lot of people from that area and they are, to a person, (a) obnoxiously and condescendingly progressive, and (b) have no idea why and would never actually go into the rough side of town and help out or even try to understand what's going on.

Which Gentilly? Gentilly Woods, or Elysian Fields Gentilly?
Point taken there, but still, lots of artsy leftist whites, even some with kids.
That goes double for Mid-City.

Very dependent on government funding
Largely uneducated

Bossier was heavily Trump. Shreveport was heavily Harris. The distance between the two is about 100 yards. Thankfully, it's a river and a parish line.

Next mayor should focus on NOLA East. Gentilly and Lakeview. The Uptown libs have always been the biggest problem. That’s why anyone besides Helena needs to win event if it means Oliver Thomas

I hear you but it’s still New Orleans proper.

I was thinking more Gentilly Terrace. And Lake Terrace (UNO is considered Gentilly, right?) but Fillmore area (around the new Holy Cross) is also full of two parent household. We live close to the Fairgrounds and there are tons of two parent households here, too. I think this is considered Gentilly.

Have you been down Banks? It’s pretty much exclusively two parent households with young kids. Same for Palmyra. And I’m sure there are plenty of other streets just like them.
New Orleans is not what the people who don’t live here make it out to be.
