Absolutely terrible. The M is not clear at all. Like many others noticed, it looks like VT on an initial look. Just awful graphic design.

This. South Carolina and New Mexico have the two best flags in the country because they're simple and instantly recognizable. Mississippi should absolutely use the Magnolia as its base concept.

Exactly what I thought. That white V shape is the first thing that catches your eye. Need to work on that.
The last time a flag change was brought up I remember seeing a design of an off white magnolia on a maroon background. I thought that was simple and recognizable.
