Wife got it first. Body aches and bad headache. Sniffles, you know the deal. We had rapid tests. She felt bad enough she knew it was different from a cold. LSS, she tested positive. I also tested negative that day. Then a day and a half later I’m positive. Felt crummy for a couple of days.
Wife was over it in two days. Looking back the actual experience in terms of sick was a nothing burger. She is 65 and me 67. Glad to have some natural immunity to boost the vax from way back when. I did quarantine so I wouldn’t pass it around at Whattaburger/Walmart. That’s why I tested.

Do you have to test to not pass it around? Are you okay with passing anything else around? Just not Covid? If you feel crummy, stay home. Simple as that. The more you people test, the more they log this bullshite into a database and continue to push it down our throats. The idiots told you there’s no cure. Stop fricking testing!

You do know that hundreds of thousands of home tests were sent out for free, right? Those don't get entered into a database unless someone seeks medical attention...

Hey thanks for the info. But as they say, you do you and I'll do me.
I am not logged into any database or maybe I'm in every database. I'm prolly in the NSA/FBI/CDC database for PT malcontents. We all there.

Because you feel like shite and go to a doctor and the doctor says here I will give you a Strept and Covid test, and then they do it and tell you "You have Covid"

I did rapid tests at home. Nobody saw them except for me and my wife. I am retired and live very, very, very comfortably so no work for me anyway. You are a hero and inspiration. Enjoy life with gusto! Watch the alcohol in the Quils. You could become addicted.

They don't need an actual variant to push mail in ballots. They just need to talk about the "What if" scenario.

"What if some deadly new variant comes out of the woodworks 2 months before the election? We won't have enough time to spin up the necessary ballots to mail out. We need to prepare for the worst case scenario. Better safe than sorry."

There have been new variants coming out of Chini for a year. No one cared, media did not report.

But now that the media is latching into this "new variant", the play is obvious. It's their "Les Miles toss dive" play, and they'll just keep on running it until someone bothers to stack the box and stop it.
