We don’t need more generational welfare we need less. Abortion helps keep those numbers down.

And so your solution to the problem is genocide against black babies?

Libs big talking point is "but the birthrates are low in America, we need to import a lot of third worlders to balance it".

Well
.
Get rid of abortion and the birthrates in our country will drastically go up.

Your line of thinking is actually racist. You are leaving out the white people who are also on Welfare and just creating more generational welfare as well. Why? Look at the demographic breakdown of Alabama. White people are more so responsible for the awful education etc but you want more of it in the name of Abortion

You are an idiot. You will just complain even more if this were to take place and Alabama becomes even more of a welfare state than it already is. This isn’t only black people like your racist thinking is telling me it is. Whites are also on Welfare in massive numbers and will be spitting out babies that will continue the trend.

So you're telling me that you hate Mexicans, too? Geeze, dude. I had no idea that someone could be this open about their racism and bigotry in 2019.

Please seek help.

I've never heard a liberal make that point. That's a conservative straw man when they want to make a shitty argument.

I'll take one or two.

Foster homes are not the same as being able to adopt. The Foster system is designed to reconcile the children back to their parents.
Most people would rather be able to just adopt a child than have to deal with the kids shitty parents.

This. It seems like a lot of prolifers only care about the baby being born and they DGAF after. I hate abortion but I really really hate kids being born into terrible abusive situations with no future hope. I don't know the answer.

I understand that you had a hard childhood and that probably has made life difficult for you. I hope you’re in a better situation now. That being said, I think you’d agree you would have rather had your chance at life.

I completely agree, the foster system and adoption system need help, but it needs to be a better system too. Many many parents adopt from outside of our country simply bc it’s easier. I know several who have, and only one who has adopted from another US biological mother. The couple that adopted within the US had to go through many more hoops than the other families, but all are loving families that have raised their children well

Thats only 1 aspect of foster homes. I should know I was in 4 of them and it was due to being put up for adoption.

I personally think once the fetus has formed enough to where it can be distinguished as a human then that should be the cutoff.

It has its own unique dna at the moment of conception. Seems pretty distinguished to me.

As for the issue of what to do with the children. We should lower the cost of adoption as it is prohibitively expensive. We should protect the rights of adoptive parents over the parents who put there children up for adoption. We should promote ethical forms of birth control and no longer see abortion as a form of birth control.

So kill them until someone figures it out? Is that where we are as a society?

You're correct we need to make it easier to adopt than it is now.

As far as my life I joined the Navy and ended up with tons of REAL lifelong friends. If someone has never been in the military I find myself not trusting them. I have major trust and loyalty issues.
I've stated that I hate abortion but we need to address the effect that a ban will bring. It's easy for people to pound their chest and say they stopped abortion but will they be there for the unwanted children?

I've encounter people that want to be on the " right" side of issues but won't actually get involved and do the right thing so if we are going to ban abortion we better be ready to help raise kids otherwise we should keep our " stance on life" to ourselves.

This is a state's right issue, SCOTUS should rule that Roe vs Wade is unconstitutional and leave it up to the states.

Now thats what I like to see a well thought out plan of action. Taking a stance requires more than talk. You can't ban adoption than plan on warehousing kids with a " good luck" pat on the back.

Now just because we are against abortion and would not use it why do we have the right to force our beliefs on another person?

Ridiculous. I am vehemently opposed to having the homeless rounded up and exterminated, but that doesn't mean I have to take them into my home or else I'm a hypocrite.

I'm sure the laws banning abortion will be equally as effective as those banning drugs, guns at schools, driving while using a cell phone, etc, etc, etc.......

You left out murder, assault, burglary, and rape.

Let's get rid of those laws also.

Dumbass.

Just as I thought you have no plan for all the unwanted children you just want to be the " morally " right one.
Be careful stepping down off that soapbox.
