Correct. Some candidates like Oz are just not very good. Walker had too much baggage.
While this is true, the terrible democrat candidates still had democrats go vote for them, and probably dumb republicans too.
So this terrible candidate bullshite isnt an excuse when most are pretty terrible to begin with and are still getting the votes.
The democrats are a cult, it doesnt matter how fricking bad their candidate is, they go vote.

Wrong. Candidate quality does matter in most cases. Brian Kemp got 200K more votes than Walker. Kemp is a very good candidate, Walker is not.

They allow someone to deposit their ballot.

We have got to go all in on DeSantis in 2024. The GOP needs to move on from Trump. He is hurting us at this point. Moderates will not vote for him, they will for DeSantis

House?
Senate?
Thanks
Republicans look like they will take the house with a very, very small majority.
The senate is going to stay the same at 50/50 + Harris, so democrat control and committees.

DeWine up by 25 points and Vance only up by 7 points says everything about the Trump effect and his endorsements.
Lord what a bloodbath for him.
He's despised more than any issue to voters.
Kemp with 8 points and Walker in a runoff
Texas in 2020 Cornyn won by 11 points Trump by 4.

Some hope for a big pick-up here:
75% of precincts reporting
Candidate Party Votes Percent of vote
Murkowski Rep 90,325 42.69 %
Tshibaka Rep 93,847 44.36 %

If GOP takes AZ and NV we will have 51.
I like the odds of taking Georgia in a runoff if we already have 51. Dems will be demoralized and won’t turn out
Nevada looks good. Hope Lake can pull masters across

People keep saying moderates will vote for Desantis, but why? He’s more conservative than Trump. He will be viewed as Hitler by the media.

Is there a shot at Oregon governor to turn red? Just curious as I have no clue and is currently in run off numbers.

That’s a net good but would be way better with Thibaka as an actual conservative over Murk.

Also can you folks on this board get it through your heads that abortion is a losing issue for Republicans? You may not like that fact but if you are going to get Republicans elected in the future you damn better be able to face that fact. Anyone going hard against abortion in anything other than a fire hydrant red area of the country is going to get themselves aborted. Argue all you want that it shouldn't be that way but it is that way. Don't be Democrats. Don't base your campaigns and platforms on how the world should be. Base them on how the world is.

It's over and only the most delusional cultists will deny it going forward. I initially didn't want DeSantis to run against Trump even if I preferred him but I've changed my mind. Trump asbolutely cannot be the nominee in 2024.

The problem here is ranked voting
Now that the D & all others are eliminated... their 2nd choices will now be counted and I would be willing to bet the #2 on the vast majority of those ballots are for Murk
So Murk will likely overtake Tshibaka at some point when that occurs

Dems will probably come up with some kind of handout like what happened in the 2020 runoffs to get people to the polls. Remember Brandon promising GA voters $2000 checks will "go out the door immediately" if they vote for Democrats in the runoff? I would expect something similar.
