When Delta said "We" he meant the "The good guys".

By "we" he means non-groomers and non-pedophiles.
The Democrats are still scum of the Earth, that hasn't changed.

Murkowski is the biggest Swamp Creature and most folks don’t know it, She got the seat from her Dad. He ran for Gov of Alaska leaving the seat open. He won and put his own daughter in his old Senate seat. Murkowski and her political machine worked hard in 2020 to change to rank choice system basically meaning she wouldn’t ever lose. She was Fetterman before Fetterman was.

Duarte (R) currently leading Gray (D) for the CA-13 House seat... a seat that I believe should be heavy blue even without the incumbent running

People keep saying moderates will vote for Desantis, but why? He’s more conservative than Trump. He will be viewed as Hitler by the media.
That's true, and it seems that he is being pushed by self described "moderates" a little too much. That makes me nervous.

This was a really stupid reply to someone who wasn't even talking to you.
But in case you can only read the word "we" then I'll go ahead tell you that there are plenty of "we" in the board. So what the frick are you even asking again?

I don’t think anyone has issue with Trumps policies. Moderates and women hate his antics. Desantis is mild mannered and very charismatic and intelligent. He explains his policies very clearly. Very likeable and Reagan like.
It’s stupid, but a lot of voters care about personality more than policy

I think the majority of the board are Republicans who are against abortion, pedophilia, runaway inflation, and overall our country going into the gutter. You may be into that stuff, but most of us here on the board aren't.

Another Democrat governor term in Kansas
Only two reasons I can think of for this.
1. Kelly's campaign did a really good job of tying Schmidt to Sam Brownback who is by miles and miles and miles the least popular Republican governor in the history of Kansas. Every political ad from her I saw did this.
2. I know this is like being the best ice hockey player in Guatemala but compared to Whitmer, Newsome, Enslee, Brown, Hochol, Murphy, etc. Kelly was actually pretty moderate with her actions and decisions. Arguably the best Democratic governor in the country, only competition would be the guy in Colorado. Plus the state legistlature is very red and has a lot of built in checks to her powers. I don't think moderates resented her very much.
Good news is she is ineligible to run for re-election in 2026.

By 538's count... GOP has a current net of +8 House seats... enough to take the majority if all outstanding races go to the current party filling the seat (need to finish at least +5)

Because they hate Trump but understand they need his base. Desantis is the only realistic alternative that can win

i was looking at her twitter and it was pretty devoid of partisan issues. She seemed really just about making Kansas better.
Max Rose in NY was like that as well. Never really got into the politics of it, just making things better for Staten Island.

How many elections have to be lost before people realize that Trumps brand an image is so tainted amongst the general populace, especially “moderate” women that it’s just completely infeasible for him to be the nominee? He’s also old as frick… why are people so gung ho about clinging to Trump instead of moving on to someone more promising and with infinitely less baggage and preconceptions? Even assuming Desantis is more swamp creature than Trump.

I have no idea where anything stands right now or what the projections are looking like.

Davids winning by such a large margin is pretty concerning.
Johnson County is the capital of the white college educated suburban liberals in Kansas. The only place in the state that is bluer is Massachusetts Street in Lawrence(which might be in the same district, I'd have to check a map to be sure) . That district is pretty much enemy territory now.

Johnson county voting machines were also spitting out ballots for sharice when the person voted Adkins. Many many reports including ballot pictures.

538 currently has GOP at 210 won House seats... 8 away from majority
and they have 9 races currently uncalled that were rated either "lean R" or "likely R"
