First of all - there are at least 2 "Israeli" Jewish groups to consider, and they have largely mixed since the Zionist movement back to the mid/late 19th Century.

There are millions of Jews today who descend from Israeli Jews that literally never left the Levant. Never. And the descendants of "remigration" Jews (returned from primarily Europe, primarily of Ashkenazi stock) that really accelerated around 1870 or 1880, whose genetic identity is far closer to those of the Fertile Crescent and the Levant than the Central and Eastern European populations whom they lived among and alongside.

So, if you're going to be a genetic bigot (certainly many Palestinian Muslims today can trace ancestry back to ancient populations of the area - hell the name we give them is derived from the Biblical Philistines, and there is an older Egyptian term back to some of the earliest recorded history we have in the region), be a better informed one, would be my recommendation.

There is zero question that the Jews of Europe were refugees from the Roman period, the Arab Muslim period, the Crusader period and the Turkish period of occupation and strife of the Holy Land.

And there is zero question that there are Jews in Israel who literally never left. The Palestinian Arabic speakers who are mostly Muslim are descendants of the same people who just converted and intermarried with the Arab (and, in some cases, Turkish) invaders of the 7th Century.
