Only Congress can repeal that. Anything the FCC director does to reinterpret the statute will be adding more regulatory authority on an unelected bureaucracy, which is Leftism.

The new Roman colony of Aelia Capitolina was populated by Roman veterans and migrants from western parts of the empire, who also occupied its surroundings, administrative centers, and main roads.

But even then the name given to the Provence by Rome, Syria Palaestina, had nothing to do with the modern day “Palestinians.” Rather it originated from the merger of Judea with areas to the north of the traditional Jewish homeland with areas formerly controlled by Philistines, a people who by this time had been gone for close to five centuries following their conquest by Babylon. The modern day “Palestinians” are Arabs who trace their roots to Arabia and their ancestors began to arrive after the Roman depopulation of Judea.
