Casting Palestinians would be more accurate. They’re the historic population of the region, and you could also cast Christians in these roles.

This is going to be a perfect opportunity for the board's antisemites to tell you the people living in Israel have nothing to do with the ones living in the region in Biblical times, so even casting an Israeli actor is anti-authentic.

You just know it's going to be a bad day when you log in and find you have to agree with SFP.

One of TDs oldest and formerly highest prestige posters reduced to a bumbling idiot all day on the internet is not a arc I would have guessed.

Why is the FCC proposing more regulations/government over private parties?

How is this not more government when the whole point is to strip the FCC of even being able to have this discussion

While people are free to be as wrong as they can possibly be and scream it from the rooftops, I believe it bears mentioning that both Mary and Joseph were direct descendants of DAVID, who is most assuredly Jewish in every sense of the word. So NO…. As Jewish as one can possibly be Jewish.

Y'all are getting hung up on “Jewish” and “Palestinian” but this is completely missing the larger point.

Modern jewish people are not the same as the ones who lived in ancient Israel. They’ve been scattered for thousands of years and are mostly Eastern European dna at this point. The modern Palestinian Arabs are a closer genetic match to the ancient Israelites than the modern Jews are.

The blue portion of the graph represents ancient levant (Israel) DNA

This actress’ name is Cohen, so she’s likely of Ashkenazi Jewish descent.

I don’t see how anyone can argue with this

When has this regulation by the FCC ever occurred over social media companies previously?

They’re actually the people who never left, with minimal admixture from later groups.

It’s a fact that the Palestinians have vastly more genetic similarity to the ancient Israelites than the modern Israeli Jews.

Modern Israeli Jews have more genetic lineage with Eastern Europeans via the Khazars (around the 8th century). But Judaism did spread to what is Eastern Europe after the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem (70 CE), Jewish populations spread widely throughout the Roman Empire, including areas of the Balkans and the Black Sea region.

It is fun watching the progstains fuss over the definitions of words and what they mean today compared to 2000 years ago.

Hell, they cannot even cope with common words like 'man' & 'woman' - but to watch then stumble all over themselves working up a lather over the definition of a word from the "bible" is hilarious,
