Eric Daughtry was allowed to post here for clicks and it worked unbelievably well.

I appreciate you repeating your comment because I did not want to respond in the other thread and bump it.
On the subject of Eric Daughtry. He doesn't bother me. He just comes off as a young, aggressive reporter working hard in today's social media landscape. He's just adapting.
I just looked him up. He's the assistant director of Florida's Voice News. Aren't they pretty big in Florida?

I figure the visit to pre-notify him of the office was a decoy to specifically get him out of the house.
The house is obviously the main target; that means they somewhat know what they are looking for. If it was more fishing than searching they would have had a large presence at both and would have drawn him away to some meeting somewhere else.

That's what journalism is.
A large majority of newspapers in the nation repost NYT and WaPo articles to fill white space. Sure they do local journalism but they also need filler material.
