These people parade out someone who is clearly in cognitive decline and incapable of being president and trying to say he is in great shape. Now that they can't hide it and they replace him, Trump is too old and in too bad of health to lead? The projection is ridiculous.
I would be willing to bet, just for arguments sake, that if the GOP were to say, "yeah he's in no condition to lead" and replaced him, that the Dems would call foul about how he was replaced. Of course this is all ok when they installed their candidate. They are all hypocrites.
