This crap is so tired. The dems had control of the house and senate during the first half of Biden term, and for the second half retained the senate. They had no cares about Epstein during this time. As bad as they were trying to bury Trump during this time, there is no way they would not have released them while Biden was in office if it meant there was a "got him" which means one of a few things: a.) There is nothing there, b.) It is damning for a lot of people in positions of power (politicians and very rich) across the political spectrum, or c.) it would be a threat to national security...

This would be a great opportunity for the GOP to say OK, But the subsidies go straight to the consumer with proof of citizenship, NOT the insurance companies. Doing this could expose who the liberals are really fighting for. I promise it's not the American citizen, but moreso the insurance companies and illegals. Of course that would probably be called racist...

Serious question for the release the Epstein records crowd. The Biden admin had a whole term to release them and it was crickets. If the files were so damning for conservatives, why weren't they released under the Biden admin?

Christian Healthcare Ministries. $300/mo.
I am seriously considering this route so I have questions.
Is that rate for single coverage or family?
How is the coverage, is there a lot of out of pocket cost?
What do you do about prescriptions? My understanding is that the health share plans don't cover scripts...

The hypocrisy of just the video alone.
Let's say the other side isn't serious while we make this dumbass video...
To think they are getting paid for this, while our service members continue to work, wondering if they'll get paid next payday.
There is not a lower creature on this earth than a politician, and the these people are at the bottom of that barrel of crap.

It was not underreported per se. However, when the DSM-5 was published, they included other disorders under the spectrum which were not previously included on the spectrum; the most prevalent being Asperger's syndrome, but others as well. At the same time, there was also a change to the diagnostic criteria in the DSM-5. On top of that, there is increased testing over a broader population.
It's worth noting that there has been a relatively large increase in the number of young adults being diagnosed. Reportedly, this is due to increased awareness, but I don't think it's a stretch to read into that, so take it for what it's worth.

Thank you. I thought it was an appropriate suggestion!

Thank you for taking the time to put his discussions in context. That is a lost art and part of the problem, pretty much all of the "hateful rhetoric" by Charlie Kirk was based on people, mostly leftist leaders and media, taking portions of what he said in a way that altered the context of what he said. I guess in a way, it helps us know who actually had seen Charlie Kirk speak, and who is just regurgitating a narrative.
It would kill these people to use full context. EVERY argument they present is based on a small part of a statement so they can alter the context amd call it hate speech. It's like the lefttists give lessons on how to change the context of something, or maybe it's just the mental illness.

Camden Yard is great, Inner Harbor is nice but touristy, and the Canton neighborhood has some nice restaurants and bars, and is my personal favorite part of Baltimore. Fells point used to be a lot of fun, but don't know how it is now. Overall, not a big fan of the city, but if I'm going, it's to one of the above areas.
His "buy tip" was, "it's a great time to buy".
Funny, I've heard that several times on here and from others that are hopeful in the current economic policy, and didn't take it as a buy tip. Apparently we're all guilty of insider trading.

live in the FL market. Democrats threw so much money into these elections (hourly ads on every TV/Social media/radio market). The Republicans barely advertised. They didn’t need to spend the money.
I agree. I also live in the district, I do not recall seeing a single Patronis ad, and Valimont was constantly on TV. If not a commercial, then the press was talking about how much money she raised. Incidentally, she raised $6.5 million vs Patronis raising around $2 million.
I think the fact that she lives in the district kind of skewed the numbers too, because it became a talking point that Patronis does not live in the district. Nonetheless, the Republicans still won pretty handily despite a relatively low effort campaign.
His video is actually in the post just prior to mine, and he is thinking spacial disorientation. There is also a Lear pilot in the comments of the Captain Steve video that seems to think, based on his experience, something happened with the yaw damper. I was trying to copy and paste the comment, but YouTube won't let me.
Here is the take from Captain Steeeve. There is also some really good information in the comments for the video.

I am no pilot, nor am I an ATC, but a loooooong time ago, I did do flight following and was a radar operator. Something I noticed on the radar shot is that as the RJ makes its left turn towards the runway, it seems the helo made a slight right jog and climbed in altitude. Had the helo maintained course and altitude, it would have passed behind the regional jet. I'd love to see this radar picture synced to the atc audio to see when ATC asked about visual. It might be able to help determine if the helo has visual on the correct aircraft.

I can't imagine that politics is so much of someone's identity that they would abandon their family members.

re: Would you reach out to your son’s friend’s parents after something like this?
Posted by Dadditude on 1/2/25 at 8:17 pm to StringedInstruments
I wouldn't reach out. I think you could use it as a growth moment so he realizes that sometimes we get left out, it's easy to get upset but not worth it, and there are always alternatives to hanging with the usual crowd. Then take him out and do something fun for some quality father-son time.

But he is doing it way more efficiently than NASA, and has had to bail them out of their SLS mess with the stranded astronauts. Incidentally, SpaceX is a great argument for privatization.

I use a Ninja too, and while it might not be the best out there, it brews a solid pot or cup for its price point. I'd venture to say probably better than some more expensive coffee machines.
