quote:

In his first week on the job, Trump has used an unsecured Android phone to post tweets from his personal Twitter account, and to delete them. His staff initially used a personal email to arrange his government Twitter account, which was updated to a government email on Thursday.

quote:

When Trump deleted a tweet, he likely violated the President Records Act, a 1978 law that requires all presidential writings be preserved. Congress recently amended it to include electronic records.

quote:

Congress passed the law "after the Watergate scandal and President Nixon's attempt to hide his records," she said, to establish that all presidential records "must be preserved."

quote:

Destroying such records is prohibited, based on the idea that it is impossible to know which records may be important in the future; and that legally, government records are the property of the public
— not the individuals who hold a given office.

I have no words.

If Trump were to be removed from office for using Twitter wrong, I would settle into my desk and never leave this board for the rest of my life.

And yet they say nothing about the shredders running nonstop from November until last week?

Link to where it says tweets are considered in this law. Has it been amended or ruled by the court to include tweets?

At what point are we gonna expect Trump to follow the rules and stop using the "but Obama" defense?

Where was their fricking outrage when Hillary was literally selling our country to the highest bidder?

And stop with the"she wasn't President bullshite." She got more done in 4years than he did in 8.

He did, but it's pretty inconsequential.

Would be entertaining.

I'd think you'd go out and celebrate the liberation of gays... no more persecution

Trump had no intent to break the law.

Like has been said before. No intent no care.

I'm talking scale of the issue.

Deleting 3 tweets which are recoverable due to screenshots < shredding thousands of documents

Impeach him!!!!!!!

Holy shite! Considering there is breathless reporting for each of his tweets, his deletion of said tweets does not "destroy" the information.

Goddamn! I cannot believe how unhinged the left and the media have become.
