If Gavin runs the narrative will be Trump is too old, just look at what happened to Biden and we can’t risk another president developing dementia. It will be th excuse squishy moderates need to justify not voting Trump

So all the “kitchen table issues” and “it’s the economy, stupid” and “voting with your wallet” type stuff that was all the rage up until now in terms of the approach would no longer be applicable in the event of Newsom’s sudden nomination? Because if so, Newsom’s record and reputation are much worse in those regards as a high profile publicly elected chief executive. Are his good looks THAT damn good? So much as to wipe people’s minds clean?

That was my first thought EXACTLY!!
