Stupid league where nobody plays defense, rules violations are either not called (traveling, carrying) or called only to effect (phantom fouls), and illiterate prima donnas are pampered and given platforms that far exceed reality...

Come on this is fake news. The NBA just had record TV ratings for the first two weeks of seeding games was up 325% in the Philippines, 130% in Spain, 88% in Mexico, 79% in Lithuania and 29% in Italy, per NBA data.
Spain has a population of 46 million.
Lithuania has a population of 2.7 million
Italy has a population of 6 million.
The Philippines has a population of 106 million
Mexico has a population of 126 million.
Remember the US only has a population of 328 million despite the fact the games are played in the US. Also please overlook the fact that the NBA is offering free to air NBA games in these countries. The fact remains its more popular than ever!

In a way, the NFL ratings not being down too much actually help damage the NBA because it takes away one of their biggest defensive arguments.
Plus honestly the NFL hasn't been nearly as bad as the NBA with the virtue signaling and radical left messaging.
We all felt it more acutely than NFL fans in say - Pittsburgh where the team has been pretty patriotic by comparison. The Saints were arguably the most woke team which is why our board was particularly upset at the NFL.
