I knew this thread would be about Carl Schmitt before I even opened it. He's become low-key popular in China since the 90's iirc.

I once saw a Chinese tourist in Milan wearing a jacket with a confederate flag patch. I was nonplussed at the time, but it seems to be a thing, I guess

Really they’re more fans of Hitler in Southeast Asia. Keep in mind communism is kind of a big deal in China and Hitler kind of hated communism.
