Pilot program to provide plant based protein option to members on bases where animal based proteins may be more costly. Bill Gate doing work. Makes sense why he's buying up all this farm land.

Trump's biggest mistake was not doing a total house cleaning of the military senior leadership on his first day office. Should have gotten rid of any remnants of Obama stench.

I have zero respect for military leadership now. Pretty soon, I'll have none for enlisted members too.

Well, unfortunately it would not have mattered if he did or did not do a house cleaning... GO's are political animals and have been for a long time... They ARE part of the Deep State and were part of creating it and keeping it running...

You would have to purge to O-5 levels or below in order to clean some of this stuff up... You would also have to purge many of the senior NCOs...

I don’t think the average citizen without military experience understand the truth in this statement.

I'm sure the prospect of eating Soylent Green is really going to haul in the recruits.

I understand the arguments for plant based proteins. However, the irony is that many proponents completely ignore how most forms of agriculture have potentially deleterious effects on the environment. Not to mention, that many of these vegan meat substitutes are highly processed and offer questionable health benefits.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, Leftists realize hey can never directly disband the military. Too radical. But they can keep chipping away at it from the inside until joining the e military is something no one would want to do.

Our enemies must be very happy about this. Is it any wonder Japan wants to re-arm?

Humans have been consuming olive oil for approximately 6000 years. LINK

A plant based, whole food diet is extremely healthy when done properly. (Those fake meats are overly processed and not part of this diet). Plant proteins are much better for you than animal proteins and all the garbage that comes with them.

A lot of Roman gladiators lived on a grain based diet. Many modern body builders are mostly vegan. Arnold Schwarzenegger is 99% vegan, and says he wishes he had eaten that way his whole life.

I hope the Navy personnel are given meat options, but nothing wrong with giving them some dietary education and an opportunity to experiment.

The point to which you replied, counselor, mentioned "harm" by "plant oils." Your comment and link were irrelevant to that point, let alone the OP.

I had not realized that olive oil is NOT a "plant oil."

Thank you for the information.
