So natural immunity either has 1/2 or 10x the effectiveness of the vaccine, with the median being roughly 3x more effective(assuming the vax is effective for 6 months which may be a stretch).

However I am shitting on the posters who think we should do nothing but wait for nature to build herd immunity.

Or how about we do what the smart thing and protect the vulnerable and let the rest get make their own damn decisions.

I've got a 99.98% chance of surviving Covid and a 100% chance of surviving vaccine injuries right now. I like my odds.

The vaccine doesnt even last 2 months. get the frick out of here with this bullshite.

Why has this narrative been coming up?

But... but... natural immunity doesnt last forever! Is that the new selling point to get a shot that lasts even less time?

with a median of 16 months

So, much better than the vax
Good to know

If you are one of the lucky ones whose titers did not fall off at 3 months. It’s definitely not anywhere near as good as the hybrid immunity of infection and vaccination.

Hybrid immunity huh. That is a thing now. All in all, you really need to get Covid to unlock the effectiveness of the vaccine!

Interesting tactic. First it was "natural immunity doesn't exist" and "get a shot" to "still no natural immunity, and get 2 shots and a booster, and keep wearing your mask" to now switching to "ok, natural immunity was a thing that we lied about, but you should get a shot anyway because this time we're telling the truth".

Hope that works out well for you.

Had Covid first week of August 2020. As of last week, still have antibodies.

Good for you. You got your antibody titers checked. Thats all I am wanting people to do.

Our bodies don't keep a bunch of antibodies around for more than a few months once the viral thread is gone. Our T cells and B cells remember though and can crank up antibody production if triggered by a new viral exposure.

Are you getting these definite statements from the CDC, who just this month admitted to not even studying reinfection in the Covid recovered?

How do you figure this?

Especially since we know that they are actively hiding the side effects of these poisons???

virus-specific waning of antibodies post-infection, the probability of infection at a given antibody level, and the distribution of likely times to reinfection. Our analyses show that both the waning antibody profiles and the probabilities of infection at a given antibody level are heterogeneous among human-infecting coronaviruses. Quantifying both of these parameters by ancestral and descendent states analysis enabled us to infer a timescale to likely reinfection for each coronavirus.

Antibody, antibody, antibody!

Don't mean jack to those with B and T-cells. Antibodies always wane post infection, it says nothing about reinfection and for one to "infer" anything different, is a misunderstanding of immunology.

It’s not a new thing that is being brought to the public’s attention because of covid.

No not at all. The vaccine provides protection if you have not had covid and cleared the infection. If you have covid and then get vaccinated it increases your antibody titer levels to higher than vaccination or infection alone.

You are going to need a booster every 6 months for the rest of your life. You realize this, correct?

Wrong. All three vaccines drop below 60% at 6 months (J and J drops to 14%)

You’re gonna need boosters much more often than 6 months
