Mystery challenger set to take on Jim Jordan in speaker vote

Two anonymous House Republicans told Politico Sunday the specific name has not yet been determined but they believe not only will the choice block Jordan, but give cover to anyone who wants to vote against him.

This is where Gaetz fricked up. They should’ve had the nominee ready to go and vote on as soon as Kevin was taken out. They’ve managed to make the republicans look worse than they did before and this isn’t coming to an end anytime soon. Just complete ineptitude on display and an absence of leadership.

This is important. People don't want to have to admit that they don't want Jim Jordan. It shows that some people are afraid that Jim Jordan may not protect the status quo in the same way they knew that Kevin McCarthy would.
There are a lot of people in Congress who want long and fruitful careers in Congress with all of the perks and wealth that comes with it. They will fight against anybody that threatens that by giving power back to the people.

The GOP is mostly RINOs, which is why the term is essentially meaningless everywhere except here. All of them are conservatives at the convention, but when it comes to running the government, opposing the marxist democrat agenda, or doing what is right for the American people, they are spineless, capitulating republicans. There's no such thing as a RINO. There are conservatives, and there are republicans.

We should all be concerned that accurate (verified after the fact) information is coming to the American people only from sources outside the US (UK Daily Mail), or from organizations that are protected from cancellation by pseudonyms (Tyler Durden, Zero Hedge).
Those sources with a face - Drudge, OKeefe, Carleson - get, in one way or another, killed off.

That picture makes me sad for two reasons. First, that Ronald Reagan is gone, and there will never be another like him. Second, that he doesn't appear to know enough about firearms to keep his finger off the trigger if he doesn't intend to shoot something.
