I don't care what anybody does as long as I am not taxed for it or have to give them special recognition.

You choose but you live with that choice with your own money.

Because the very people that demand you celebrate their deviant sexual behavior are the same people that will cancel your lilly white arse if you even so much as hint that a biblical marriage is good.

I knew one from work. Total headcase. Erratic and unhinged almost all the time. Also, a completely narcissistic piece of shite. But hey, maybe that was just them and not a reflection of the whole lot of them.

FWIW, it was a person born a woman parading around as a man and going thru lots of procedures. Rockin beard, though.

Gays dominating television and commercials does piss me off. Not because they're gay, but because they're <2% of the US population and yet 1/3 of commercials on evening television features at least one pair of poofters kissing each other.

Seen alot more curiously androgynous individuals on commercials lately too, and I'm pretty sure I saw a tranny on a commercial a couple days ago talking about being a "fashionista", and somehow proud of it.

99% of the American mainland is NOT the same as the gay scene in Atlanta or San Francisco.

I'll stop having problems with the LGBT community when membership in that community doesn't necessarily put that person at odds with every other value I hold.

LGBT people are pretty much the worst people in the world...and it's not because of their sexuality. It's because of their uber liberal value system.

My main issue is that the LGB also means

"Let's Go Blues!"

I hate how the how gaybob crowd has put a damper on that acronym.

Andrew Sullivan explained it years ago. The movement is about making it 'normal.' There is a difference between 'tolerated' and 'accepted' and being viewed as 'normal.'
I am tolerant of gays, I like gays, but gayness is not normal. If it was then our biological construction would be much different.

Vegetarianism is accepted. But it's not normal. There is a reason humans have incisor teeth. Yet there are vegetarians who want us all to stop eating meat.

What percent of the population is necessary in order to define a trait as “normal,” in your view?

Lets look at blonde hair. Less than 2% of the world’s population is a natural blonde. Less than 6% of Americans. Less than 12% of Americans of primarily European descent.

Gingers may be a better example. Only about 1% of the world population. Less than 5% of Americans.

Are those folks “normal?” Or should we “normal” brunettes just “tolerate” them?

I met a transguy who was married to another guy and was about to get that surgery. BTW this was after the trans ban Trump did and he was in the military.

There’s an interesting podcast with Dave Rubin and the prominent, young black gay conservative dude (name escapes me right now).

The black guy says this whole trans movement is actually anti-homosexual. His rationale is that otherwise normal gay teens are being brainwashed into thinking that their homosexuality is actually a case of being mis-gendered, thus the push towards the Tranny thing.

My son, to my chagrin, came out as gay while in college. He is 6'3", cross-fitting, good looking, Engineer from GA Tech, who has had girls chasing him his entire life (and, according to him, taken some of them up on their offer), but never dated (other than to proms) in high school.

There is absolutely no reason, in my opinion, for him to be gay, and my wife and I have analyzed it six-ways-to-Sunday.

That said, he professes to be Christian and attends a church in ATL (clearly more liberal than my independent Baptist church), fanatically GOP, and loves his family. He just does not want to be though of as anyone other than who has always been.

If you were to see him and his long-term friend (surgeon) out, you would likely not even suspect while most times that is not the case. The difference for my son and his friend is that being gay does not define them.

Trust me, this is not my preference and I pray for my son and his friend daily that they turn from this lifestyle if it is God's will. I also pray that God have compassion on them as he does all of us sinners.

This isn’t even about them anymore. It’s about insane activists latching on to their cause and distorting it to ridiculous levels. The few gay people I know are as mortified by all this as anyone else.

They could boost their image with catchy ad campaign slogans.

“Lesbians: Goin’ lickety split!”

Your premise is logically flawed. Normal doesn't mean percentage of population. Orchids are normal but they are rare.
Normal refers to natural...having to do with the function and design of nature. You may not realize this but the natural purpose of your dick is procreation. It is not intended to be used as a solid form of enema.
There are more morbidly obese people than redheads. But morbidly obese is not normal. Having red hair is.
Do you understand now?

The online component of that community is what is cringe and annoying as frick. Most gay people I’ve ever met have no desire to shove it in your face.

They better not shove it in my face, I'd cut it off.

I would get along with your son. He's the exception.

I don't even believe this. You have more problems with it than I do.

as long as he does cross fit and is good looking, i don't think there is anything wrong with having a special friend
