If someone is bi, gay, trans, etc.., it's not for me but have at it. I've had a number of gay friends and didn't care at all, nor as a person who manages people would that ever cross my mind to adversely affect their employment over it.

My issue is how much it's celebrated and in everyone's face. Sexuality is not an avenue for being celebrated in my book. I don't parade being heterosexual with two children.

I don't understand how Ellen Page becoming a man is such a big news story but there was a major North American trade deal that replaced NAFTA a year or two ago that was barely talked about.

I read a story about an ex-military guy that was a substitute teacher that gave blood about 3x a week for years. He also volunteered in the infirmary holding babies for years. And he never spoke a word until people somehow found out. That's what we should be celebrating - people doing extraordinary things.

L,G,B,Q I have no issue with. I do have an issue with Transgender cause I honestly believe it’s a mental disorder and attention seeking. I have never met a trans before but I’ve read about a few and every single one was fricked in the head and suicidal. And now with the men competing in women’s sports bullshite just makes it worse.

I completely agree with you. I just think that they've probably been repressed for so long and now there's a big movement to make sure that it's over. It can get annoying, but I just ignore it, because it's not hurting me any.

I'm mostly the same way with racism and feminism. If it helps people to quit discriminating, then I'm okay with it, as long as it's not hurting others in any real way.

Yeah, guess I agree. I’m open to believing some are natural but my gut tells me most are as you described. I see that as a consequence of celebrating the community. The community doesn’t just want acceptance, they want an endorsement

I keep asking people what LGBTQ stands for and I can never get a straight answer.

Studies are showing that a ridiculously high number of people with transgender dysmorphia who START their transition have a person in their friend group who is also a transgender. Which would indicate there is a significant social component to it. This is especially true among young people.

This is the issue nowadays. It seems like we have to qualify ourselves in order to prevent our opinions to be seemed “hateful”. People are throwing out signs of “hey, look I’m not a bad person” and here’s my opinion on xyz controversial issue.

If the opinion is backed by logic or facts, that should be sufficient. But liberals made it so that we have to be careful what we have to say. It’s a form of speech manipulation.

you don't understand this is a war. That side is fighting a war. You are not. That's why their side is increasing and gaining ground. Satan and his army are fighting 24/7 while our side sits mostly on their hands.

It's a distraction from people thinking about all the good things Trump did during his tenure.

was about to ask this same question. Always been confused about the alphabet soup.

male

female

heterosexual

homosexual

those are all the fundamental discriminators that I can stomach. Anything else is a plea for sympathy and/or attention.

I think you found the answer though

Gay, Bi, Trans, all in between is "so brave" to come out and tell their world "I am no longer ashamed of being different"

Meanwhile, common sense, and morality be damned

what the bible says be damned according to these people who demand we accept and approve their choices

yep, it's a choice... no-one is born to feel attracted to the same sex or want to be another gender

No one has really given a shite about queers for at least 20 years. They aren't repressed. They want to be celebrated and given special treatment.

Same thing with these people, only they haven't been repressed for much longer than 20 years.

f it helps people to quit discriminating, then I'm okay with it

Let's get rid of affirmation action and all the grants and scholarships that are only for non-whites and females, then.
