Maybe that person had a few comorbidities, but without COVID

Without comorbidities they would have survived Covid.

Because you choose to be unhealthy means you are susceptible to viruses. It’s not your right to avoid the consequences of poor health.

You do realize that there are "healthy" people in the hospital that have contracted Covid, don't you? Not 100% are comorbidity cases.

The tiny risk of developing a rash or irregular heartbeat for a few days vs the tiny risk of being dead. Not a hard decision for people once they set aside their political stubbornness.

I think that's a substantial oversimplification.

mRNA vaccines still have unknown long term side effects. For people outside of the high-risk groups, being reluctant to volunteer as a guinea pig isn't political nor stubborn. Especially their children.

I have some co-morbids and I'm over the hill so the risk-reward was worth it for me. But until enough data exists that it's completely safe, or a new variant starts attacking children, I will not have my child take this vax. It has jack shite to do with politics. I'm a trump voter, my wife a Biden voter, and we are both in total agreement on this. It's not political. Pisgah Pete, you likely live in Ashville and have dread locks.

There was a DR. in W Texas who recommended breathing treatments (albuterol or budesonide) and he kept all his patients out of the hospital with this; no matter what co-morbidities they had. We have both at home and used it when a family member started to struggle with breathing. The treatment worked right away.

I learned this from a link posted to TD last year.

My 67 year old body had it and was hospitalized for day n night due to respiratory failure as my O2 went down to 62. I’m very healthy with no B/P problems and only on 2 meds for maintenance. But it did kick my butt as coughing was horrible with fatigue and thank goodness, no fever. Yes, took all vitamins recommended and lost 15#. I tell everyone I’m brewing my new personality from this beast.

Most educated people over 35 or so don’t want to risk spending two weeks in the hospital or having to miss 10 days of work to score political points against the Libs

You couldn't be more wrong in suggesting yes/no on vaccination is tied to intelligence or education. It's interesting that so many typically rational people are so confused by a healthy adult choosing to not inject a chemical to fend off a virus they have no more fear of than the annual flu - in particular the tens of millions of adults that have natural immunity.

Lose some fricking weight people is what all the medical experts should be shouting all over the TV instead of blabbering on and on about the vaccine and shaming the unvaccinated.

Can we stop calling it a vaccine and call it what it really is, a symptom reducer?

My weight has gone from 320 pounds (I'm 6'4) to 295 pounds. I highly recommend the vaccine if you have these pre existing conditions that I have

I’m truly glad you made it, and I believe food has a terrible stranglehold on American diets, but please focus on your diet. You’ll be a new person! Keep working hard.
