An eleven year old going down the street during a hot day on their bike is:
A. Hotter than this kid in the car.
B. More at risk for abduction or injury than this kid in the car.
Should a parent that lets their kid ride their bike through the neighborhood be arrested?
If no, then this law is retarded.
If yes, then you are retarded.

I get it, so it's like global warming... Although it's supposedly getting warmer and dangerous, it's actually getting colder. So we need to protect that child from hypothermia

Where drug addicts frequent, na the kid wasn't in any danger.

As a Law Enforcement Officer.....I would definitely NOT have charged the mother. The child is 11 years old and is MORE THAN CAPABLE of exiting the vehicle if it becomes excessively hot in the vehicle.

No, they should not have been charged. If hey got in the car and attempted to leave, then they should have been charged.

How do you know that she wasn't?
I do not but there is also no information stating she was in immediate danger.

Where was the woman parked?
Not sure how this is relevant. Based on the blurb I would imagine she ran into grab some something quickly from a convenient or drug store.

You taliking about the parents getting drunk?
I'll not waste my time with your willful silliness at attempting to equate the two.

You cannot argue logical with a liberal. The party of science HATES facts and arguments that contradict their stances. It's only the party of science when they can pick and manipulate the studies and info.

It doesn't matter.
There are families that live in cars. I'm sure you understand this.

I trust that if the 11 year old was in danger she would get out of the car. Why are you so paternalistic? The state has no reason to be involved in this situation. Geez. Live and let live folks.

I'm as liberal as it gets, socially speaking. This application of law is absurd and overly protectionist bullshite.

yes, because meteors striking a car happen as often as kidnapping, gtfo.
~ 100
There are about 75 million children between 0-17 in the USA.
That comes to .00000133%.
Most kidnappings, damn near all of them, are by family members.
Your odds of being killed by an asteroid impact in your life are ~1 in 700,000, according to what I've read. Calculations may vary.
I'll let you workout the math.
What I'm trying to say is, quit being so damn scared about something that is blown WAAAAAAAY out of proportion by the media.

Do you honestly believe that an 11 year old kid would just sit and bake in the car if it was too hot?
Surely you cannot be that dense.
