So you haven't looked in the mirror.
Hint: that red nose and pasty white skin is either indicative of lack on Vitamin D and excessive alcohol use....or you're a clown

They helped rebuild is such a disengenious framing. They went to NOLA to chase repair money. That's is not helping in the way you are framing it.

The amount of shitty work that has been funded by insurance and government grants in the last 20 years has caused tremendous inflation in building costs. Contractors have been incentivized to take on as much work as possible and threw cheap labor at it until it is good enough to move onto the next one.
The quality of work in the last 20 years has gone way down, contractors either have beach houses because they hired illegals or got thrown in jail for just not showing up after taking the first draw. Meanwhile the illegals have begun to contract their own work, which may have initially been affordable but kept the burn and churn model.
This situation has created a wide disparity in quality contractors. Work needs to be redone more often. For example, a “30 year roof” costs $15-25k and can be demolished and replaced in a single day.
Other has been little social integration for these people, they have raised kids as “undocumented” and now the third generation are just showing up in schools and diluting education. It’s not any individual’s fault, it’s just hard to care that they “helped us rebuild” when you know the net result today. Something has to change, it’s easy to say

First. Load of crap. There is no reliable source that can conclude when our illegals showed up. Sure, interview 3 locals on fricking NPR. Sure.
Second. No, I don't even give a tiny frick. If you have been here for 20 years without ever trying to do the right thing then don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Leftists have no idea how expensive it is for taxpayers to deal with illegals in the US. They complete ignore it.

Proof? Simply stating something doesn’t mean anything without data.. even with the data.. 20 years or 100 years doesn’t change the legality that Citizenship squatting shouldn’t be rewarded.

This came directly from NOLA locals interviewed on NPR this morning. It raises a good point - the city was devastated 20 years ago and couldn’t have bounced back without thousands of laborers. Do we now turn on our neighbors who helped rebuild? Something to think about
If you hire a plumber to come fix your toilet, when he’s done do you just let him move in with you?

We can’t stand behind the Constitution only when it benefits us.
My post is regards to neighbors who helped build a destroyed city we love and that is unique. If there is a way to confirm migrants rebuilt, that should be taken into consideration somehow.

Research the different types of fallacies that the left uses for everything. It's like a slight of hand trick that attempts to distract attention away from root cause.
In this example we potentially have several versions;
1) Appeal to Emotion - should be obvious...
2) Non Sequitur - connecting rebuilding NO with illegal immigration - da fuq?
3)Moral Desert Fallacy - It might be a moral argument, but not a logically valid inference
